I'm in pieces, and yet this was everything I ever wanted.I've cried, I've screamed, I've smiled through tears and I still don't know how to move on from this series.Lauren Roberts didn't just write a fantasy book she wrote a war of emotions, and I was on the losing side from page one.

Let's talk about Kai. My golden boy. My poet. Every time he opened his mouth, it felt like poetry bleeding straight from the heart. He's been through so much betrayals, loss, duty but the love he holds for Paedyn? It's so raw, so consuming. I wanted his happy ending more than anything. And though he lost his sister, his brother, and so much of himself along the way... he got Paedyn. He got peace. He got a daughter. And they named her Kit. I cried.

Paedyn frustrated me at times, especially when she made Kai suffer. She knew her place in Kitt's world, yet her words cut deep. But even when I was mad at her, I understood her. And the love between her and Kai? It was destined. It was fate. Even when everything stood in their way.

And ohh Kitty Cat.... That boy broke me. Obsessed with his brother, broken by love, haunted by power,he was so human. So terrifying and tender. Watching him fall apart under the plague, lose his grip on who he was, and finally accept death in Kai's hands? I can't stop thinking about it. He didn't try to fight back. He wanted to die. Because he was scared of what he was becoming. And that epilogue? I sobbed.

Adena and Mak deserved better. A part of me thought she will come back but no!!! No fantasy magic twist, no revival. Just grief. And I think that's what made this story feel so real Lauren didn't hold back. Not from pain, not from heartbreak, not from love.

I still feel like I'm grieving this world, these characters. I'm happy, because Kai got what he deserved. But I'm also empty, because not everyone made it. And I'll carry that sadness with me.

I'm still not over it. I don't think I ever will be. This book isn't just a story it's a journey, a heartbreak, a love letter to pain and healing. And I will carry it with me for a long, long time. And MALAKAI AZER? He'll live rent-free in my heart forever.

Hear me out guys although its James's book but Aaron Warner is the main character I can't think otherwise!!!🤷🏻‍♀️

Watch Me was a decent return to a world I’ve loved for years, but it didn’t quite land as a five-star read for me. The pacing was fast, almost too fast short chapters like shatter me, a ton of events packed in, but not enough time to breathe or dig deeper into the emotional stakes.

Rosabella’s presence still feels confusing she’s just there, and I still don’t know why. James, too, felt underdeveloped, almost like a side character whose arc hasn’t started yet. It was hard to connect with what was going on at times, especially with the fantasy elements feeling rushed or vague.

That said, I’m still here for my core 4 Warner, Juliette, Kenji, and Nazeera. Always have been, always will be. Seeing the possible pregnancy arc unfold was both exciting and emotional especially with the trauma Juliette’s endured and how much they’ve longed for a child. Hello now I can't stop imagining Warner as a girl dad?Him in his 30s taking care of his WIFE Ohh God I love him sm😭

Kenji and Nazeera’s breakup hit me harder than expected.Plzz someone bring em back together!!!😭

All in all, Watch Me felt like a setup book laying foundations for the storm to come. I’m hopeful that the next books will dive deeper, and I’ll absolutely keep reading…even if the wait destroys me😔😭🫶🏻

I can't believe I held off on finishing this series for TWO YEARS 😭 The first half was honestly a little slow for me but somewhere along the way I found myself getting pulled right back into this family and remembering exactly why I loved these characters so much🥹 I’ve loved each and every one of them in their own way and after leaving the series for over two years I didn’t realize just how much I had missed reading about them until I was back with them again.

And then Rose giving birth to her first baby???I cried plzzz 😭My man Richard is officially a DADDY now🤪 #Raisy is alive and I love em sm. And FINALLY seeing Lily and Loren get married after all this time??? I WAS NOT OKAY😭🤍

Everything about this book made me feel so nostalgic and attached all over again. Um genuinely going to miss having these people to come back to. And now um going straight into Fuel the Fire… so I guess um not saying goodbye to the Calloways just yet😭

500+ pages!!! Somehow I still ended up binge reading it.

Let me tell you my favorite part of this book.Its none other than Asher Keinston!!! He was definitely the highlight for me. I was already invested in him from the first book of the series and his humor, confidence, and overall personality made him so attractive. Julia Giovanni was hawt.A girl who was raised to kill!!!And their chemistry was good but not more than Asher and Ashleigh.Their bromance is everything to me!!!🤪

Finished In Her Own League and my heart feels so full.I could cry. Going back to the Windy City universe felt like coming home. Seeing Miller, Kai, Max, Isaiah, Kennedy, and everyone again reminded me why this series became one of my all-time favorites.
Emmett finally getting his story after all this time was so worth the wait.
And Max... my baby is growing up way too fast😭 Please tell me I'm not the only one hoping for a Max spinoff someday.
Bittersweet to turn the last page, but um so happy I got to spend a little more time in a universe I'll always love🥹❤️
