Second attempt on this one. The can of the protection coat broke mid spraying and I needed to redo the painting. Luckily I somewhat managed to still use the can.. it doesn't look too bad. Could be worse. I'm just happy that I'm done with it 😅 What can I say.. it kept me busy.. twice. Won't touch it again though 😄 And as always.. this is not my logo. Ah well, am I 100% happy with it.? No. But I don't need to be. I don't need to make it perfect, that's not my goal. And hey, there are lots of little mistakes but it doesn't matter. It kept me busy and focused.😁 That's the logo of the pro model of @freya.sk8 The board is btw available at @never_enough_streetstore And again.. it's not a logo I created. I just painted it on an acrylic plate. This time I decided to work a bit with color but I didn't color the horse head (mostly cause I don't have the right colors for that). I decided to not paint the reddish orange part. Not because I thought the colors I had didn't seem to fit or because I wasn't exactly able to do it well.. nope.. definitely not because of that 😅 And this time I used the Matt spray thingy for the whole thing. Which is not only easier but I also kinda like it on this one 😊 As always it's not perfect and tbh it looks much better in the picture but who said that I try to be perfect.? I would lose my mind if I tried that.. considering that even the not so perfect versions can drive me insane 😄 It's, by the way, one of my favorite Again logos. I like all of them but this is definitely one of my favorites. And.. it's not my logo. I didn't create the logo. Just the painting with the already existing logo. Maybe.. just maybe I spent my day putting about a hundred layers of acrylic white paint on this one (definitely not a hundred. I might be a patient person but not that patient). 😄 The black paint was working great but the white one thought it would be more fun to drive me insane. So let's just pretend it's just the way I wanted this to be 😅 It was quite relaxing to be fair, besides the white paint acting up. And I have to say.. it didn't turn out that wrong. Sure it's not perfect and in person it looks even a little less perfect but it kept me busy and focused and I got to watch a bunch of true crime documentaries while doing it. Artemis ll Crew Logo (not my logo, the logo already existed). I tried to paint it on glass (I'm not an artist or anything) It's not perfect but I'll be honest.. I'm kinda proud. Considering that my first attempt failed right at the end (the paint cracked -> My fault 😄) I was about to give up. I mean it's not easy for me to sit (as my sibling said Toni) like a shrimp on my desk, using toothpicks to get the color on the glass. And yep, I used toothpicks, like I always do for glass paintings. Why.? Because my hands shake like crazy when I use small brushes 😅 So yes, after the failed attempt I wanted to give up but at the same time I had the itch to do this painting. For most people it's probably nothing but I just needed to get it done. So I did. It took me hours but I focused and did the whole thing yesterday. And I'm glad I did it. Of course it could be better but it could also be worse. Well.. I couldn't help myself and buy two NCIS jackets. Not exactly high quality stuff since it's not official merch but I take what I can get, it's definitely good enough. I mean.. it's NCIS so that's alright enough for me 😄 Not gonna lie.. official merch would be cooler but shipping can be a bit expensive when you live in Germany and buy something from America. So.. I did something. I guess it's kind of obvious now that I'm a huge NCIS fan (of the whole franchise). I mean the show has been a part of my life since..a really long time. Back then my dad watched it a lot and therefore I stayed quietly while he watched it so that I could stay awake longer and it definitely worked. And what can I say.? Years later I still get that exciting feeling when I watch an NCIS episode. As a kid I literally cut out little NCIS pictures of magazines and made collages. I even hold a presentation about the show in my class (my German teacher/principal was obsessed with the show too so she just let me speak and listened excitingly 😁) The show is such a huge part of life and never fails to calm me down or cheer me up, especially during dark and hard times. Just the intro song is already 🔥🔥🔥 Back to what I did here.. it's nothing big or creative but it distracted me for a while and kept me entertained, especially since I can't do much cause of a wrist injury (my doctor told me to not use my left wrist much, which I didn't during my little project). I just printed out some stuff and used an iron to put it on the jackets and surprise.. I only burned myself once, yay 😄 It might not seem like a huge project and it isn't but considering that, even though I'm a little creative in some ways, I struggle a lot with not getting frustrated much or accidentally getting hurt in some way.. it surprisingly went well. And yes the logos were supposed to be white (first two pictures) but they turned a bit darker, a mistake but a mistake I can live with since it kind of gives it an old look. The last picture is one of a jacket I did a while ago. The pictures should be a bit bigger but I still like it. That's all I have to say about this... P.s... I really do love the NCIS franchise :D And maybe.. just maybe.. one day I can meet some of them. Who knows 🤷🏽‍♀️. First time skating after months and after foot surgery. It's a weird feeling and my foot definitely hurts when I try things I used to do. It kinda sucks. But hopefully it will stop hurting eventually. It took my foot a while to start healing, and it's still in the process of healing. Even though I'm tired now and my foot hates me.. I'm kinda glad that I got the time to go skating. At least I can still do the things I used to do.. in pain but I can still do them. That's.. something, I guess 😄 by @jas_wer
