Please enjoy The Lion's Tail from JASAGA's Holiday Gift Guide 2024!

E̶A̶T̶ DRINK & BE MERRY

We’ve rounded up our favorite holiday gift ideas to inspire you this season!

Kicking off the series with one of our favorites: The Lion’s Tail Cocktail Kit. Cocktail kits have been growing in popularity over the last few years, and we love a gift that keeps on giving—round after round.

Fun Fact: Allspice Dram, once a "lost" ingredient known only from historical references, is back on the market—and we couldn’t be more thrilled!

Let's chat about showcasing your product in some beautiful light ✨

Looking to step up your food photography skills?

Here are a few tips that we swear by:

☀️ It's all about that lighting! Get your dishes in the spotlight, although maybe not literally. Be sure your food is well lit, ideally in natural light whenever possible. However, we all know it’s not always possible so avoid dull lighting or weird shadows in your shots.

🍽️ Set the Table! Use surfaces, dishes, cutlery, accessories, etc. that complement your food to create an engaging and exciting tablescape that will allow your food to really shine!

🖼️ Frame it up! You want to capture a dynamic shot of your food. While the rule of thirds is always a safe bet, have fun and play with angles, focus, and depth-of-field to find what works best for your image.

Finally, we recommend having a rockstar team to push you over the finish line for polished, professional, and engaging food photography. Never underestimate what a creative stylist, a rockstar photographer behind the lens, and a professional and detailed retoucher can bring to your project. If you’re interested in what JASAGA can bring to your next project, send us a quick message, and let's chat more!

We love approaching photography from an artistic lens, and as all artists know, you must constantly experiment and test new ideas to keep your artist's eye sharp.

We were digging through the archives recently and found these fantastic tests from a while back! Can you guess what these are made of? Let us know your guesses below! 👇️
