life update: sinds een half jaar ben ik officieel juf jasmijn & mevrouw rowling en ik vind dat heel fijn. na jaren zoeken in het illustratie veld, merkte ik dat ik het sociale aspect heel erg miste. in september ben ik begonnen met de verkorte opleiding docent beeldende kunst & vormgeving bij @wdka en daar ben ik heel erg op mijn plek. van stages bij @villa_zebra en een baan als docent beeldende vormgeving bij @lyceumkralingen , ben ik dit jaar veel meters aan het maken als kunsteducator. het is super inspirerend om opdrachten te verzinnen voor kinderen en ze op een nieuwe manier uit te dagen. zo maakte ik ook een museum guide “voor: de kunst kijker” , deze schoolopdracht heb ik vandaag mogen testen met mijn lieve oppaskinderen van de afgelopen jaren. 🌼 zo voelde de cirkel vandaag ontzettend rond en ervaar ik veel waardering voor waar ik het afgelopen jaar naar toe ben gegroeid. 💕 ik kijk erg uit naar wat er nog gaat komen! taken in Rotterdam, Netherlands by @jasannabel

a few months ago i got a commission for a wedding invitation. this is the drawing i made for their card, in the end they decided to go for something else. i find commissions very difficult because i have my own personal style and they have their own vision & it can be difficult to align the ideas into one. 🌸 but i find the illustration very sweet and i found it on my procreate again and wanted to share it here 🩷 #procreate #commission by @jasannabel

riding into 2025 , I just wanted to look back on 2024 & the art & moments I have created and encountered these past 12 months. 🌟💥❤️🌻💘 first seeing my drawing printed in my home town and later projected on the Dom tower 🥺 , drawing every day in february, getting my bachelor of Arts , finding love for iron beads 🥺👉🏻👈🏻, crocheting balaclavas for friends and family, giving a workshop about creation as KOPP/KOV , printing my own t-shirts , making a wedding invite for my sister and her -now- husband & so much more I couldn’t add!!! 🌸🌼🌸🌼🌸 THIS YEAR thought me so much, about letting go and finding fun in creation. trying out new techniques and figuring out what I want to do after graduating my Illustration course. a black hole I was scared about and gave me so much anxiety. now I know teaching is something I would love to learn more about, how I want to travel to the other side of the world and learn even more about myself! 🍒 2025 will show me new challenges and new things to learn, but after the past year I am ready to discover whatever life has in store for me! 🥹❤️ THANK YOU for the support, inspiration and kind words , know you give me the push to try out new things and dare to go out of my comfort zone!!!!
