Absolutely nuts lol not sure what I was thinking but at least I can say I did it.

I'm not sure what I would do without my community 😭 From my small group, to parents from our kids school who have become friends, to the coaches and athletes at ISI THANK YOU for showing up ❤️

@isi.sandysprings has been one of the biggest blessings this year. The grit, the love, the challenge, the encouragement! Since the moment I started in April it has felt like a big warm hug every time I step foot in the building🥹 thank you for the culture you've created @kendraruth90 !! You are a gem and I adore you!!

Him: "Honestly? I just want to go golfing with you."

Celebrating you is genuinely one of my favorite things to do. You don't ask for much because all you ever want is time with us, our family, and our people. But you deserve SO much more, and yesterday was a little proof of that 🥹

There are men who become fathers and then there are men who become safe places.

You are the second kind.

What makes that so incredible is where you started.... You could have let your pain write your story. You could have let your trauma set the tone and let the wounds decide what kind of man and father you would become. Honestly, that probably would have been the easier option.

But you chose differently.

You surrendered all the hurt, trauma, and the weight of everything you silently carried for yearssssss and chose to lay it down at the feet of Jesus. It was in your surrender that everything broke that was NEVER supposed to reach our children. 😭🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏽‍♀️💨💨💨 *cue church shout!!*

The best part of it all is the fruit of that surrender. It's us. It's our family. It's the way our children laugh without fear, love without walls, and know deep in their bones that they are deeply loved and safe.

That is everything to me. YOU are everything to me!
