SMOOTH CRIMINAL 💙👔• 2 years ago i made the routine “smooth criminal”. It was my official debut as a choreographer being considered piece of the night by the audience but also to this day being the thing people talk about most when it comes to me , even being called “michael” when people see me lol. This piece turned my life around as an artist and i truly couldn’t be more grateful for that experience. I kept from posting this routine for a number of reasons but today all of that goes out the window because on June 25th 2009 we lost the greatest thing to ever grace this earth @michaeljackson . A inspiration to so many , an icon , Legend we could go on and on but i truly felt that there was not a more perfect day to post this than today. 👐 #WENZDAYS NY/NJ #5 🗽 | ↗️ “Lean Back” 🔙 | 🎶 - Terror Squad | CHOREOGRAPHY : @carlinmichael / @mattygoogs collab , @lilvhj3 , @jashenid 💡 fun factz about this WENZDAY :1. ny and nj really showed up with 61 dancers pulling up and the energy 🔥 was crazy all night!!2. all the choreographers voted and picked Lean Back a few minutes before we started which really fit the temperature of the city with the Knicks going to the finals 🏀3. second week in a row that a choreographer (thank you Vincent 🙏) blessed us by pulling all the way up from the DMV area and traveling a really long way by bus 🚌4. Carlin reached out to Matty Wednesday afternoon telling him he was in town and wanted to come dance so Matty instead asked and was so excited when Carlin accepted his invitation to collab5. Jashy jumped in last minute to close out the night and everyone who was lucky enough to stay, got to see why she is HER!!!HUGE THANK YOU to @0space_nyc and @deshawn_da_prince for donating their space for the evening 🫶Video @shotbyl.c Edit @hi_its_me_z Big shout as always to Ian and Rai Rai for starting this and encouraging the community to get together and share our love for dance ❤️ by @jashenid

SOL DE JANIERO BADALADA @soldejaneiro 🧴💛🩷🩵• MY FIRST CAMPAIGN, let me tell yall this experience was so freaking fire , i had so much fun with all my people especially being able to do this with my @royalthieves_nyc fam🐻🖤. i have so much i wanna post but insta is limiting me lol so just know it was one of the coolest things i got to do this year . MONSTERS ADVANCED LEVEL BATTLE WINNER CHICAGO🏙️‼️‼️‼️• let me start this by saying that i am still in shocked that this happened. i can’t even begin to tell ya how hard i’ve worked for this moment. alittle background, i spent ages 15 - 19 working in freestyle and battling and eventually turned away from it because i lost the love for it and decided to just focus on commerical dance. fast forward 3 years later ( still doing the monsters battle here and there but not really) @peterdances comes to me and says you doing the battle ? i say nah im good and he says “come onnn for the one time” so i say fine 🙄 and sign up and lord do i have to thank pete for believing in me fr 😭❤️• @ian_eastwood @yodalovejones @toyinsogunro THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU a million for believing in me and your kind words after i truly am inspired by each of you and i genuinely can’t begin to express how unreal this is to me ! to my ladies thank you for keeping hiphop alive and proving everyday that we out here too ! and to ian thank you for kind words to me and the knowledge and encouragement you share i promise imma lock in lol•i wouldn’t have this moment without all my fam ( tagged in the comments ) supporting me not only in this battle but in my journey especially @erica_hiness who hit me up and encouraged to come to chicago love you down and i love all of ya so much ! • to my family @titavazquezzz @bomba_piano @gabbyzzz_world who since i was born lol have been at every show every comp every battle doing nothing but pushing me and supporting me i love yall this was for yall ! • and ofc my baby @theeppsshow who the whole weekend kept reminding me who i was and kept me on my toes , is my number #1 fan and will literally fight over my name being said wrong lol i love you so much 🫶🏽❤️ by @jashenid
