Man, what a time to be alive. Having a 3D Printer at home is an incredible thing. From idea to physical item in under 2 hours - the bulk of that, was me fidgeting with the design in the CAD software.

Brought my family to one of my favorite places this weekend - The Henry Ford museum. Only a machinist can truly appreciate this museum to it's fullest extent, but rest assured, it is enjoyed by all. I told my family over and over this weekend, that I don't think Henry Ford & Thomas Edison's work can be overstated, and I would argue that their work and contribution have done more to shape the 20th century, than any American president or world figure. Very happy to make more memories here, and I hope for many more in the future.

13 hour trip today, tagging along with some hardcore project cavers. I had a bat almost fly in my face, which was interesting. Over a mile of crawling I was told, and I believe it. My knees feel like hamburger, and my arms have never felt more fatigued... Needless to say, I'm whipped.
