I'm a real stylist. Not the Instagram kind. 🥂

Over a decade of work:
Celebrities. Campaigns. Film and TV. Editorial. Red carpets.

But here's what matters more:

I've styled executives preparing for board meetings.
Founders building personal brands from scratch.
Speakers stepping onto stages they've never been on before.

Women navigating new bodies, new roles, new levels of visibility.

And here's what I know after all of it:

Style isn't "what you wear."

It's how you enter a room.
It's how you show up on camera.
It's how you carry yourself when the stakes are high.

This carousel? A glimpse of the work.

If you're ready for yours to reflect where you're actually going, not where you've been - let's talk.

I'm Jasmene. Strategic Wardrobe Stylist. Atlanta-based. Over a decade deep in this industry. 🥂

I've worked in corporate retail buying, celebrity styling, boutique ownership, and senior-level strategy.

I've dressed people for red carpets, boardrooms, stages, and camera.

And here's what I know for sure:
Your style is your introduction.

Most of my clients aren't lacking style.
They're carrying too much.

Too many roles. Too many decisions. Too many "I have nothing to wear" mornings when the closet is full.

Their wardrobe never got the memo that they leveled up.

So if you're stepping into bigger rooms, more stages, a new role, or a new standard for yourself, and you need your look to reflect that BEFORE you get there?

You're in the right place.

Presence isn't accidental. It's built.

Let's build yours. 💅🏽 by @jasmenebowdry

You've built the authority. Now it's time for your image to reflect it.

I'm Jasmene. I style execs, founders, and speakers who need their look to match the next level they're building toward.

Fall color does not begin and end with burgundy, chocolate brown, and olive.

Those shades will always make sense this time of year, but Fall 2026 is giving us a much bigger palette to work with.

And this is where people sometimes get stuck with color. They see a shade they like, buy it, and then have no idea how to make it feel like them.

My rule: don’t ask, “Is this color trendy?”

Ask:

Can I wear it with what I already own?
Does it make sense for where I’m actually going?
Can I style it more than one way?

That is what turns a seasonal color into something worth buying.

These are a few of the Fall 2026 colors I actually think are worth paying attention to.

Which one are you wearing?

What a Stylist Sees That You Don’t, Part 2: Proportion.

You can button the jacket. The pants zip. Nothing feels too tight.

But you look in the mirror and think, “Why does this still look off?”

I’m looking at where the jacket ends. Where the sleeves fall. Where the waistband sits. And what happens between the pant hem and your shoes.

Those details change the entire outfit.

And if your solution is always a longer jacket to cover your hips or stomach, that extra length might be the very thing throwing off the balance.

More coverage doesn’t automatically mean a better look.

This is also why I will forever advocate for tailoring.

The size on the tag cannot account for every detail of your body. Sometimes the piece is right, but the sleeve needs shortening, the waist needs shaping, or the hem needs adjusting.

A tailor can refine the fit. A stylist can identify which adjustments will improve the whole look.

And sometimes? You need a different cut altogether. Tailoring has power, but it isn’t magic.

If getting dressed has become a cycle of buying, trying, and still feeling dissatisfied, this is part of what we address in 1:1 styling. We look at how the clothes sit on you, then make choices that make getting dressed feel good again.

Save this for your next try-on: Don’t just ask, “Does it fit?” Ask, “Where do the lines land?”

What a stylist sees that you don’t, Part 1: everything can’t be the main character.

A great outfit isn’t always about adding more. Sometimes the styling decision is knowing what to take away.

The print.
The jewelry.
The shoe.
The color.
The bag.

Individually? Great choices.

Together? They can start competing for attention.

When I style a look, I’m deciding what I want your eye to notice first, then making sure everything else supports it.

That doesn’t mean your outfit has to be boring. And it definitely doesn’t mean you can’t mix prints, colors, textures, or statement pieces.

It means there’s a point of view.

Because one of the biggest differences between wearing clothes and styling an outfit is knowing when to stop.

There was a time when I thought designer was the price of admission.

I worked in buying at Saks in New York. Then I moved into celebrity styling. Designer was everywhere, and when you’re young and in those environments, it’s easy to start believing the label is what makes you look like you belong.

It became a security blanket for me.

Until I realized I was trying to keep up with people whose pockets didn’t look like mine.

And that’ll wake you up real quick.

I had to learn that looking the part had very little to do with how much I spent and everything to do with how intentional I was about getting dressed.

Now? I still buy designer. I still love beautiful things.

But I don’t need a label to make me feel worthy of the room.

I buy it because it makes sense in my wardrobe. Because I’ll actually wear it. Because it serves a purpose.

I’m not dressing for everybody else’s standards anymore.

I dress for mine.

And my standards are high, with or without the label. 💅🏾

It’s always interesting when people tell me I’m “worried about the wrong things” because I have an opinion about what people wear.

I’m a stylist. This is literally my job. 😂

You can take the advice or leave it, but I will absolutely die on this hill:

🗣️ APPLE WATCHES DO NOT BELONG AT FORMAL EVENTS.

And because apparently we need the footnotes:

I never said your watch had to be expensive. I said wear a real watch. Fossil exists. 🤷🏽‍♀️

I also said FORMAL EVENTS. Not running errands. Not going to work. Not grabbing brunch.

And if you wear your Apple Watch because you need it for a medical or safety reason, clearly I’m not talking to you. Although something like an Oura Ring may be worth exploring if you still want health tracking without the screen on your wrist.

Everybody else?

Take the Apple Watch off with the formal evening attire. 😂

I said what I said.

I’m not anti-AI. At all.

I use it. I’ve created some dope things that I can’t wait to share with AI. I’m excited about where it’s going. And I think it will continue to change the way we create, shop, and experience fashion.

But AI cannot replace a stylist.

It can generate an outfit.

It cannot replicate a trained creative eye.

It doesn’t know how fabric will actually fall on your body. It doesn’t catch the proportion that is slightly off, the tailoring adjustment that changes the entire look, or the difference between something that photographs beautifully and something that actually works when you walk into the room.

It doesn’t know when the “perfect” piece is wrong for the client.

It cannot replace years of studying bodies, clothing, fit, color, fabrication, designers, retailers, visual storytelling, and real people.

And it definitely cannot replace the instinct that comes from doing this work with your own hands.

AI is a tool.

The stylist is still the strategy.

Gentle Reminder: You don’t always need more clothes.

You need a strategy for the clothes you already own.

Because a full closet with no system still leaves you standing there saying, “I have nothing to wear.”

The problem isn’t always your wardrobe. Sometimes, you just don’t know how to make it make sense. 🤷🏽‍♀️
