When I hit “Post” for the first time last October, I never imagined we’d grow into a community of nearly 2,400 people. 🤍

If you had asked me a few years ago if I’d become a content creator, I would’ve laughed. I never planned for any of this.

I was simply a mom looking for fun, affordable places to take my kids. I started sharing those little adventures on my Instagram Stories, and somewhere along the way, Jasmin Explores was born.

Today, this page has become so much more than I ever imagined. It’s introduced me to incredible families, amazing local businesses, and opportunities I never thought I’d have. Most importantly, it’s allowed me to help other people discover places where they can make memories with the people they love.

Did you know you can spend the day at Hacienda del Rio in New Braunfels without booking a stay? 🌿✨

I stopped by for a much-needed mommy reset, and it was exactly what I needed. Locals can grab a $30 day pass and enjoy access to the river + property amenities. I spent some time unwinding by the pool, explored the beautiful property, and grabbed their $20 Cowgirl Dinner Special. 🤠

Sometimes you don’t need a whole vacation—you just need a few hours to yourself, good food, and somewhere beautiful to relax.

💀🌼 Did you know you can visit the Día de los Muertos Museum in San Antonio for FREE?

This beautiful museum celebrates Mexican culture, traditions, and the importance of remembering our loved ones through colorful artwork and meaningful displays.

During our visit, we brought photos of our beloved Woody and Bailey, along with my grandpa, to add to the community altar (ofrenda), where visitors can leave photos of loved ones who have passed away. ❤️ It’s such a beautiful way to honor their memory and keep them part of our celebrations.

I wish something like this existed when I was younger. ❤️

This isn’t something I talk about often, but I’ve experienced having my drink spiked on more than one occasion. Thankfully, I had people around me who looked out for me. Not everyone is that fortunate, and I know how quickly a night out can turn into something frightening.

That’s why this partnership means so much to me.

I may have grown up surrounded by material things, but there was so much more I dreamed of having as a little girl. And now, I get to watch my children live the childhood I once wished for. ❤️

Recently, I asked my kids which of all the toys they’ve gotten this year was their favorite. Neither could name one. Both simply said, “I don’t know.”

But when I asked about their favorite places we’ve visited, their little faces lit up. Suddenly, they remembered everything. The places, the adventures, the moments I didn’t even realize meant so much to them.

And that’s when it hit me.

One day, the toys will be forgotten, but the memories we’re making will stay with them.

What makes me emotional is knowing that the things I once dreamed of are now simply a normal part of their childhood. They don’t know how much that means to me, and I hope they never have to.

Because in giving them the childhood I always wanted, I’m also healing a little piece of the girl I used to be.
