it’s your first time x

you’re in your 20’s, it’s okay to not have it all figured out. it’s okay to start over again, as many times as you like. it’s okay to make mistakes & not have a clue what to do next. it’s okay to still be pondering on the things you like and dislike. it’s okay to dream big and not have any clue how you’re going to achieve it. it’s okay to not have a solid identity yet. it’s okay to still be figuring out who it is you want to be and what it is you want to do.

life is not waiting for you,

it’s already living within you.

Another gentle reminder: life is meant to be lived, truly felt and fully experienced.

A remembrance of who you are.

Don’t let the world tell you otherwise 💛

It’s not easy to choose yourself when all you’ve been given are reasons not to.

When all you’ve known is putting others first.
Carrying the burdens, the responsibilities, the weight — before you even begin to think about you.

It can feel uncomfortable to even consider choosing yourself.
Because what about the parts of life where you weren’t given a choice?
The moments placed in someone else’s hands before your own?
Or the times you became so familiar with abandoning yourself that choosing you felt almost impossible?

But I’m here to remind you: you are worth choosing.

You deserve the freedom to say yes to yourself — even when it means saying no to others.

You deserve permission to choose all of you.
Every part that makes you who you are.
Every experience that shaped you.
Even the past versions of you who never got the chance to be chosen.

So now — choose you.
Not selfishly.
Not guiltily.
But fully.
Unapologetically.
Authentically. You.
