One year later & I still can’t find the right words to express the emotions I felt before, during & after producing my first fashion show. It was one of the best nights of my professional career & at the end of that night, all I could think about was “I’m starving & my feet really hurt.” and “I can’t wait to see what comes next.”

I haven’t shared this milestone on my platform until today, its anniversary date, but I think about it constantly. It was more than just an event; it was a manifestation of passion, a tangible expression of creativity that had lived in my thoughts, waiting patiently to be shared with the campus. The late nights, the relentless pursuit of perfection, and the collective heartbeat of my team as the music started—each element was a note in the symphony of this unforgettable experience. The lights, the cameras, the fashionnnn, the excitement of it all was soo thrilling.

This show was not just about displaying fashion; it was about showcasing heart, dedication, and the magic that happens when dreams are pursued fearlessly. I am BEYOND grateful for EVERY single person that helped make this night truly magical. Models, Stylists, Designers, Performer, Photographers, Videographer, Vendors, Assistant Stylists, THE AUDIENCE (I mean, hellooo), and most importantly, my Secretary. No position was too small because all of you made this an amazing night. 💝

I’m sure many of you have heard my long story about how fashion show production is my ultimate career goal and to be able to see what I can do just fuels me so much to keep going. I’m not going to lie, I am still a bit exhausted from putting this show on lol but I would do it all over again, in a heartbeat. Thank you to everyone who believed in this vision, who walked this journey with me, and who supported myself & the BSU to make this event into reality. This show will forever be a reminder of where we started, how far we’ve come, and the exciting road that lies ahead. Here’s to more creativity, more challenges, and more dazzling runways in our future! 🥂✨

Can’t believe it’s been a year since I was behind the scenes on set for the new tv series G.R.I.T.S. — and now it’s premiering TONIGHT on @watchallblk 🖤 What a full-circle moment! I had the opportunity to shadow the costume designer @alexandriademi for this show and it opened my eyes to another career adventure in fashion. Watching the magic happen behind the camera—every wardrobe change, every detail—was such an inspiring experience. So grateful for everyone I met and everything I learned along the way. Can’t wait for what’s next! ✨

Serving looks before serving backstage 💃🏾🖤✨ If you’ve worked backstage, you know the typical “uniform” is all black.
