I CAN PROUDLY SAY I AM A MEMBER OF THE ASSOCIATION OF PROFESSIONAL PIERCERS!
.
this is a goal I was told many times was impossible. i had multiple people tell me my shop would never be able to do this. but i kept my nose down and grinded away… for 8 years. I started as the only piercer in a studio working 6 days a week, maybe 1-3 clients a day using some very questionable jewelry and technique. but i joined forums, researched online, attended classes, and went to guest spot. i absorbed as much info as possible and kept the dream close to my heart that one day I would be an APP Member. My team grew, and @ashleypiercings and I worked our tails off in order to build this program bigger and better. my clients listened to the info i told them and we grew and grew. I doubled our staff last year and the clients came with it! we got enough for a new building with zoning to work at the APP standard. I still was told, it’s not going to happen. We kept improving and improving and jumped thru every hoop. then this morning, the application was approved! you’re looking at the first and only APP Member and APP studio in Ventura County! Thank you to my boss for always trusting my process, @tomhardin1955 at @bonedeeptattoos and for opening @bonedeeppiercings . I couldn’t do it without my team @piercingsbykota @katelynrobyn @adornedby_annie @dnicepiercings @piercingsbybrenna. you girls are the best! Never felt more accomplished 😭😭😭

💕Fakir Intensives 💕
There are no words I can even use to express how much this week meant to me. This educational experience was the MOST THOROUGH i’ve ever had, made me realize how much there still is to learn. Sometimes i still feel like a baby-piercer because i didnt have the best apprenticeship and had to learn a lot on the fly. After almost 12 years behind the needle, i still CONSTANTLY learn new things. Very proud of how far I’ve come, but also so excited to continue improving on my craft throughout my entire career. I’m so blessed to be a body piercer, it truly is my dream job and life path. Thanks to all who have exchanged energy with me in that way and all those who will put their trust in me in the future.
Thank you to all the educators that taught this week, it was such a moving experience learning from you all! not to be dramatic, but i truly feel like my life/outlook has changed. ALL LOVE 💕 @fakirintensives taken in Fakir Intensives by @jasminecelestine

some fun additions to both ears👂
1) all by me (except the rook) some healing, some fresh. newest jewelry is the meet cute from @emberbodyjewelry . goal is to add some chains from the rook hoop to the top helix, then another from the top helix to the lower helix. jessie loves dramatic jewelry and i agree ⛓️💛
2) did not do this helix piercing but got to adorn with this lovely moss agate from @junipurrjewelry , love these piece so much. moss agate has so much character it’s one of my fav stones 😍🥰
