Yesterday, I closed a chapter that shaped my life, a chapter of service and sacrifice, honor, duty, and leadership.

Effective today, 1 March 2026, after 20 years, 7 months, and 25 days of service, I am officially retired from the United States Army.

That’s my time.

What a beautiful evening of music, inspiration, and purpose at the Let Freedom Ring Fall Gala! ✨ We were excited to attend and support the preservation of Historic First Baptist Church’s legacy and the African American stories that connect our past to future generations.

The sweetest part was seeing our daughter serve as a junior hostess! 💖 We loved that she could be part of such a meaningful evening while learning the importance of honoring our history.

What an incredible weekend at The Links, Incorporated’s Eastern Area Leadership Experience! 💚🤍

I loved deepening my connection with my chapter Link sisters and sharing meaningful moments together. That spirit of friendship extended to women I met this weekend, with whom something truly special unfolded. I was exactly where I was supposed to be.

God has a way of placing us in the right room, with the right people, for a purpose we may not fully understand until we’re there. I was definitely on assignment. My heart is full. 💚🤍 🔗

🎤 Leadership has no borders. 🌎

This week, my work took me to @bermuda, where I had the opportunity to speak on leadership at a mastermind, marking my first international speaking engagement. 🇧🇲

The conversation centered on a principle that has shaped how I lead: When pressure rises, your training must override your emotions.

Challenging moments will test you. Uncertainty will challenge your confidence. And pressure will demand a response. The leaders who are prepared rely on the discipline, tools, and training they’ve built before the moment arrives.

Developing the capacity to navigate adversity, lead people well, and perform when the stakes are high is the work I’m committed to bringing to leaders and organizations.
