Zuri showed up and showed out today at the North American Grand Nationals. I was a nervous wreck, as this was her first time sparring at a competition. She maintained her focus, applied the principles and didn’t let a hit to the chin stop her. She came home with 1st place in forms-Wansu and 2nd place sparring for her age/rank. Definitely a proud parent moment. by @jasminerae224

Zuri competed in her first Karate competition today. She was slightly nervous as she is still fairly new to her rank and division. She practiced and stayed focused. She placed first place for her rank and division in Traditional Forms (Kata)I am proud of her. by @jasminerae224
