Snake and floral tattoo
This was such a great tattoo to do, this was my client Allison’s first tattoo with me and she wanted a fine line snake and floral tattoo.
We had two full day sessions back to back, and she was a star!!
When possible on larger pieces I’ve found that this works best for me and the client, we don’t lose the flow of what we are doing and we get to see the full project complete and finished. 🐍 🌺 ❤️

Some friendships really do stand the test of time. 🤍

A mountain landscape 🏔️✨

For this piece, the brief was to combine mountains, pine trees, water, geometric line work and a few sparkles into one fine line design. I really enjoyed bringing all of those elements together into a balanced composition that flows naturally.

Some moments are too precious to stay in a photo album. 🤍

Ruth came to me wanting to recreate a family photograph as a tattoo. The photo was taken at her brother’s wedding, and after he recently passed, she wanted to carry this special moment with her brother and sister with her forever.

Fresh vs Healed ✨

One of the questions people often ask is why tattoos change over time and why they don’t stay as sharp as they did on the day they were done.

The truth is, this is exactly what tattoos are supposed to do.

As a tattoo heals, the ink naturally spreads and settles within the skin. The crispness of a fresh tattoo changes as the tattoo ages, and that’s a completely normal part of the process.

Here are some fresh and healed photos of tattoos I’ve done over the years, either from returning clients or from clients who have kindly sent me updates.

I love getting updated photos of healed tattoos so I can see how they have aged over time.

Swallow in flight

Nora came to me with a really clear vision for this swallow. She wanted to keep it light, with clean lines, minimal shading and a real sense of movement, while still feeling true to the shape of the bird.

I really enjoyed working on this one and refining all the little details to create a design that felt balanced and flowed naturally with the placement.

The cutest little dragon ✨🐉

@katreadsstuff wanted a delicate back piece featuring a dragon, moon, stars and ornamental details. Together we brought those ideas into one design that flows with the natural line of the spine while keeping everything light, elegant and balanced.

A very special floral piece 🤍

Ellen came to me with a loose idea for her tattoo, and together we developed this design. We settled on using the birth flowers of her living children, with a small pendant incorporating the footprint of her baby boy who was still born.

It’s a deeply personal piece, with every element chosen for a reason.
