Whether you’re building your first business or starting your next one, you need to be able to answer this:

Why would someone invest in YOU?

What do you bring to the table?
What have you already put into action?
And can you explain how the business will make money?

I started my banking career with no experience.

Since then, I’ve become a top producer, built businesses, and generated hundreds of millions of dollars in sales.

One lesson has stayed with me: people need a reason to trust the person across from them.

If you’re building something yourself, here’s where to start:

→ New to business? Show the work you’ve done and the expertise you’re bringing in.

→ Already experienced? Show how that experience prepares you for this particular venture.

→ At every level: understand your numbers, explain the risks, and follow through on what you say.

Integrity is everything.

During my years in banking, I became a top producer and generated hundreds of millions of dollars in sales. But the most valuable asset I built was my reputation.

I learned that trust is earned through consistent actions: communicating honestly, honoring commitments, treating people with respect, and making the right decisions - even when no one is watching.

A compelling vision may attract attention.

Strong numbers may create interest.

But integrity gives people confidence in who is leading - and that matters in every business, partnership, and opportunity.

Who you are behind closed doors will eventually show up in everything you build.

Being memorable isn’t about taking up more space, talking more, or trying harder to impress people.

It’s about how people feel in your presence.

Did you welcome them?
Did you listen?
Did you make them feel valued?

Real influence begins when you stop asking, “How can I get their attention?” and start asking, “How can I make this person feel important?”

Because people may forget what you said—but they rarely forget how you made them feel.
