🇪🇸 Hola chicos, aquí en Venecia, día 2.
Hoy visitamos varios sitios increíbles como la Plaza de San Marco, el Palacio del Dux, el Puente de los Suspiros y el icónico Puente de Rialto.

Dato curioso: El Puente de Rialto es el más antiguo de los cuatro puentes que cruzan el Gran Canal. Fue construido originalmente en madera (¡dos veces!), pero en 1591 se reconstruyó en piedra. Muchos pensaban que no aguantaría… y aquí sigue, más de 400 años después.

También aprendimos algunas curiosidades sobre la comida veneciana:
El bacalao llegó a Venecia gracias a los viajes de Marco Polo a Noruega. Y de sus viajes a Asia también se cree que trajo la inspiración para la pasta y los tallarines, que luego se convirtieron en parte esencial de la cocina italiana.

Venecia no deja de sorprendernos con su historia, su belleza!

Hey guys, here in Venice, day 2!
We visited some amazing places today like St. Mark’s Square, the Doge’s Palace, the Bridge of Sighs, and the iconic Rialto Bridge.

Fun fact: The Rialto Bridge is the oldest of the four bridges crossing the Grand Canal. It was first built twice in wood, then finally rebuilt in stone in 1591. Many thought it wouldn’t last — and yet, it’s still standing strong over 400 years later.

We also learned a bit about Venetian food culture:
Salt cod (bacalà) became popular in Venice thanks to Marco Polo’s travels to Norway. And his journeys to Asia are believed to have inspired the introduction of pasta and noodles, which became staples of Italian cuisine.

Venice continues to amaze us with its history and beauty!

Venecia tiene mucha historia, su gente es amable y amigable. La comida muy buena!

Acompáñenme a un fin de semana en Venecia.

Al llegar cogimos el vaporetto para llegar al hospedaje, nos acomodamos en nuestro apartamento, cenamos y nos preparamos para el día siguiente lleno de muchas cosas que ver y hacer.

🇪🇸 Hola chicos!

Día 8 en Islandia.
Visitamos la capital, Reykjavik, paseamos por el centro, por sus calles, comimos su deliciosos y famosísimos perritos calientes. Lo pedimos con todos los toppings pero tienes la opción de quitarle algunos de los ingredientes, como la cebolla frita, o la mostaza, o los pepinillos.

Luego, seguimos caminando y visitando tiendas. Nos tomamos un chocolatito caliente, compramos nuestros respectivos souvenirs, y nos fuimos de regreso a Selfloss, que es donde estaba nuestro apartamento.

Si pueden apreciar, el cielo estaba bastante despejado, por lo tanto, había probabilidad de ver auroras boreales. Síganos, comenten, compartan, y atentos a nuestro siguiente video.

🇬🇧 Hello guys!

Day 8 in Iceland.
We visited the capital, Reykjavik, strolled through the city center and its streets, and tried their delicious and very famous hot dogs. We ordered them with all the toppings, but you have the option to remove some ingredients, like fried onions, mustard, or pickles.

Then, we continued walking and visiting shops. We had a hot chocolate, bought our souvenirs, and headed back to Selfoss, where our apartment was.

As you can see, the sky was pretty clear, so there was a chance of seeing the northern lights. Follow us, comment, share, and stay tuned for our next video!

Hola Chicos!

Día 7:
-amanecimos en Keflavik y nos fuimos a explorar. Fuimos a la cueva de la gigante (Giantess Cave). La entrada es gratis y es algo divertido de hacer. En la cueva habían muchas estalactitas de hielo o carámbanos 🧊 te puedes hacer fotos con las pertenecientes del gigante.

-Después fuimos al “puente entre continentes”. Puedes cruzar un puente que cruza encima de la placa tectónica euroasiática y la placa americana! Hay pocos lugares en el mundo en los que puedes estar entre dos placas tectónicas e Islandia es uno de ellos.

- Caminata por el volcán y el manantial termal de Gunnuhver! El olor de las entrañas de la tierra es bastante fuerte. El olor de diferentes minerales a veces huele un poquito mal. Ver el agua caliente constantemente tirando vapor, ver cómo se congela el agua que cae alrededor y ver como sale humo de la tierra fue una experiencia única.

Islandia tiene tanta naturaleza que nos faltó tiempo para poder muchísimas cosas más.

Day 7:
-We woke up in Keflavik and went out to explore. We visited the Giantess Cave. Admission is free, and it’s a fun thing to do. Inside the cave, there were many ice stalactites or icicles 🧊, and you can take photos with the giant’s belongings.

-After that, we went to the “Bridge Between Continents.” You can cross a bridge that spans the Eurasian tectonic plate and the American plate! There are very few places in the world where you can stand between two tectonic plates, and Iceland is one of them.

-We hiked around the Gunnuhver volcano and hot spring! The smell of the earth’s interior is quite strong. The scent of different minerals sometimes smells a bit unpleasant. Watching the hot water constantly releasing steam, seeing how the falling water freezes around it, and watching smoke rise from the ground was a unique experience.

Iceland has so much natural beauty that we ran out of time to do so many other things.

Hola Chicos!

🇪🇸 Día 6 en Islandia.
Salimos de Akureyri rumbo a Reykjavík.
En la carretera vimos bastante nieve, dunas interminables de nieve. Algo increíble de ver.
También vimos muchas quitanieves y las “serpientes de nieve”, un fenómeno que se da en los sitios donde nieva, la nieve es arrastrada por el viento formando estas figuras que parecen ser serpientes. 🐍

Pasamos por varios túneles y uno de ellos cruzaba un fiordo por debajo del agua, que nos pareció bastante increíble.
Y por fin llegamos a Reykjavik.

🇬🇧 Day 6 in Iceland.
We left Akureyri heading toward Reykjavík.
On the road, we saw quite a bit of snow—endless dunes of snow. It was an incredible sight.
We also saw many snowplows and “snow snakes,” a phenomenon that occurs in snowy places.

We passed through several tunnels, one of which crossed a fjord underwater, which we found quite amazing.
And finally, we arrived in Reykjavík.

Día 5: Ya por fin en Akureyri! Empezamos nuestro día con un buen desayuno que preparamos en las instalaciones de @hamrarcamping
Visitamos la ciudad de Akureyri al norte de Islandia. Este hermoso lugar tiene el fiordo más grande toda Islandia!
Vimos los famosos corazones de Akureyri ❤️
También visitamos la casa de 🎅🏻 papá Noel, para los amantes de la navidad este es un lugar de ensueño.

No olvides llevar tus crampones para no resbalar en el hielo 🧊

We started our day with a good breakfast that we prepared at the @hamrarcamping facilities.
We visited the city of Akureyri in northern Iceland. This beautiful place has the largest fjord in all of Iceland!
We saw the famous Akureyri hearts ❤️
We also visited Santa Claus’s house 🎅🏻—a dream spot for Christmas lovers.

Don’t forget to bring your crampons to avoid slipping on the ice 🧊
