So many pictures to choose from and this one always stands out. The day we said yes, but also the day all pride was set aside to show our gratitude and willingness to submit and serve one another. That’s exactly what these past two years together have been. Through the ups, downs, good times, bad times, being cast out, being accepted. We did it all together and it wasn’t easy it took submission, service, choosing each other daily, but most importantly it took remembering who served us first and that was JESUS and keeping him at the center is what made all the difference. I love you so much Maddi Mae, and I always will. Happy 2 year Anniversary! Here’s to many more! by @jason_dodd99

To love you, 24 trips around the sun and I’ve got to spend 3+ with you. I’m left without many words because there isn’t enough time or space under this post to say everything that’s amazing about you. You love with everything endlessly, you are the most selfless person I know, you are my sunshine on a rainy day, you help me find my head when I lose it, you pick me up when I’m down, you always show up (for everyone). You are the most amazing person I’ve ever met and I’m so grateful God placed you in my life. Happy Birthday to the most amazing wife, enjoy your day. I LOVE YOU! There is no better feeling than walking in purpose in Jesus Christ. This week I got to practice the great commission by going into the world of young men’s lives and telling them about a man named Jesus that died for them. I got to see them laugh and have fun but also listened to them share some of the hardest things they have had to go through. The best part was I got to tell them about their Heavenly Father who loves them so much he sent his only son to die for them and that he just wants to be in relationship with them! Life is good, Jesus is better! by @jason_dodd99

This isn’t the best picture it’s not the most beautiful we ever looked, but it’s real and it’s a memory I’ll never forget. This was a vacation at the beach where life was raw and real and I called my now wife by the wrong name and thought I ruined everything. What happened next is history, my now wife forgave me and loved me through my mistakes and my story and my brokenness that I poured out to her. In this picture my nephews who I told weren’t allowed to love my girlfriend more than me, finally were comfortable with my future wife and loved her and I watched how she loved them and knew she would be my wife. This day last year I married the most amazing woman that it felt like God created just for me. I love you Maddi and I always will. To many more! Happy Anniversary ❤️ by @jason_dodd99

Today is an extremely special day to me. Today is the day God let my wife enter this world. If it wasn’t for God and her I have no idea where I would be today. Even though she ghosted me after our first date, God was just checking to see if I had any patience. I don’t like waiting but this one was worth waiting for. Happy Birthday baby! I am late to post my wife for Valentine’s Day but in looking through photos to post I came across a wedding photo where we washed each others feet. Valentine’s Day while it is a holiday is a reminder to me. It’s a Friday, nothing really special just someone made it a holiday. It’s a reminder love isn’t just for dates or for celebrations or holidays it’s for the ordinary days. The random weekdays where we are asked to sacrifice something for someone we love. It’s spending a Monday serving your wife by helping with dishes. Love isn’t just for special occasions but for every regular day. @dodd.maddi I love you so much and I’m so glad you are my wife and I’ll never forget valentines 2 years ago when we had our 2nd official date “a year” after you ghosted me. I made you dinner and was so nervous you were going to hate it and ghost me again. Yet here we are married and serving each other daily. I wouldn’t want my life any different.
