Such a fun and unplanned afternoon getting to meet @micahpalace from @lostandfoundmusicc and his wife @tesspalacioo 🙌

My kids love his music so much, and I didn’t know they were here in town today to open for David Crowder tonight at Victory. And then all of the sudden, I see them sitting on the lawn right outside my office 5 feet from my window. I went outside to say hello, and they offered to come inside and chat for a little while, and Ryan went to grab our kids so they could all say hi. Pax was SPEECHLESS!! 😶 😂

But honestly, it was so great getting to sit with them for a little while and hear more of their story and SPEAK LIFE over them and their young marriage and career. Micah is the REAL DEAL, and wants everything he does to point back to JESUS! And his wife Tess is literally the sweetest person ever.

If you haven’t already discovered Lost and Found Music, do yourself a favor and go check them out. All their songs are straight scripture, and my kids absolutely LOVE IT!

We were never called to hide sin, but to bring it into the light. We could never make ourselves good enough, pure enough, or righteous enough. We need a Savior.

The blood of Jesus doesn’t simply cover our sin—it cleanses us from all sin.

Righteousness is found in Christ.
Holiness is the pursuit.
Purity is the result.

After the aqua park @_campvictory Pax told me, “dad, I can do backflips and gainers off the high dive.” 😳

I mean, it’s not that I didn’t believe him. But holy cow, I didn’t realize he’d be that good right away! Love watching him overcome fear and do hard things. And as I’m posting, he’s now done 57 consecutive flips and gainers 🤪🤷‍♂️
