It’s hard to explain what you’ve seen to someone who wasn’t there.

For a lot of veterans, that distance follows us home. But seeing people endure suffering and still choose to worship reminds me: God is still at work.

Jesus calls us to deny ourselves, pick up our cross daily, and follow Him. Even when it’s hard. Even when we don’t understand. ✝️

What does following Him look like for you today?

Your title tells people what you do. Your daily choices reveal who you are becoming.
Through military leadership, pastoral ministry, and building Vet Nation, I’ve returned to a conviction that shapes how I serve men: our true purpose begins with belonging to Jesus Christ and becomes visible in how we live.
On Saturday, November 14, I’ll be speaking at Summerville Baptist’s Men’s Ministry Breakfast about Faith, Purpose, and Accountability.
These are three foundations I believe every man needs:
• Faith that shapes our decisions. Following Christ changes how we treat our families, handle pressure, conduct business, and respond when obedience costs us something.
• Purpose grounded in our identity in Christ. God has entrusted us with relationships, abilities, and opportunities to serve. Discovering purpose includes recognizing those responsibilities and faithfully accepting them.
• Accountability that invites honesty. We need brothers who know us well enough to recognize when we’re struggling and love us enough to challenge us.
In men’s ministry, we have a responsibility to help men put these convictions into practice: keep your word, take responsibility when you fail, lead with humility, and ask for help when you need it.
As a husband, father, and leader, these are commitments I’m called to live alongside the men I serve.
Join us for breakfast and a meaningful conversation about the men God is calling us to become. Bring a friend.

Through many trials, dangers, toils and snares I have learned and still humbly learning that feasting on sin is like… Having a “Banquet in a Grave”#fyp #reels by @jason_trudell

You know their job title. Do you know what they’re carrying? 👀

Some people need direction.
Some need room to grow.
Some need encouragement.
Some need a hard conversation delivered with love.

As a CEO, I’m learning that fair doesn’t always mean identical. You can hold a consistent standard while giving people different kinds of support.

“Encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with them all.”
📖 1 Thessalonians 5:14

That last part gets me: Be patient with them ALL.

Even when you have to explain it again.
Even when their growth takes longer than you expected.
Even when their personality challenges yours.

Knowing your people is part of the work.

What’s one thing a leader did that made you feel understood? 👇

The best adventures aren’t always about the destination. Sometimes, they’re about who you bring along. 🚙🏕️

The family is packed, the vehicle is loaded, and we’re hitting the road to Overland Expo East!

Between the packing chaos, road-trip memories, and a few unexpected stops, we’re reminded that adventure is better together.

But this trip is about more than camping and overlanding.

We’re bringing the Vet Nation mission on the road, building relationships, connecting with the outdoor community, and exploring new ways to bring veterans and their families together through adventure, fellowship, and purpose.

Here’s to the miles ahead, the people we’ll meet, and the memories we’ll make.

Overland Expo East, here we come! 🇺🇸

More influence.

More responsibility.

More growth.

But bigger isn’t always better if your character can’t carry it.

Luke 16:10 says,
“One who is faithful in a very little is also faithful in much.”

That means the small stuff matters.

How you treat people.

How you handle money.

How you show up when nobody’s watching.

How you respond when things don’t go your way.

Before asking for more, ask:

Am I being faithful with what I already have?

Because sometimes the breakthrough isn’t getting a bigger opportunity.

It’s becoming ready for one.

Being busy doesn’t mean you’re being productive. 🎯

One of the hardest lessons I’ve learned as a CEO is that if you don’t protect your time, someone else will spend it for you.

Emails. Meetings. Notifications. Everyone else’s priorities.

Before you know it, your day is gone, but the things that actually matter haven’t moved forward.

📖 Ephesians 5:15–16 reminds us to walk wisely and make the best use of our time.

Here’s the challenge: Stop asking, “Do I have time?” Start asking, “Does this deserve my time?”

Your calendar should reflect your calling, not just your commitments.

💬 What’s one thing you need to stop giving your time to?

Stop building your life around people who doubted you. 🔥

Proving people wrong can fuel your ambition. But it can also lead you to build a life God never called you to live.

I’ve been there.

There’s a difference between chasing excellence and chasing approval.

Galatians 1:10 reminds us to ask: Whose approval am I really seeking?

Build with purpose. Lead with conviction. Serve with humility.

And stop letting people who doubted you have a say in your future.

You don’t need revenge. You need purpose.

🎯 What’s driving you right now: purpose or the need to prove something?

🇺🇸 THE MILITARY TRAINED YOU FOR WAR. BUT WHO PREPARED YOU FOR WHAT COMES AFTER?

Nobody talks enough about the day you take off the uniform for the last time.

The mission changes. The brotherhood feels distant. The identity you’ve spent years building suddenly feels uncertain.

And you’re left asking yourself…

“Who am I now?”

I’ve been there.

That’s why I wrote 📖 WHEN THE UNIFORM COMES OFF.

This book is about more than transitioning out of the military.

It’s about rediscovering your identity, rebuilding your purpose, leading through change, and understanding that God isn’t finished with your story.

Because here’s something I wish every veteran understood:

🔥 Your service was a chapter. Not your entire story.

Whether you’re transitioning out, have been out for years, or love someone who served, this book is for you.
