Jason Clayton is ignited by musical storytelling, with love for connecting self and community, through sound and movement. Experimenting with levels of emotion and energetic curiosity, Jason plays with a progressive sense, building and exploring blissful drops, powerful synths, organic tones, and global sounds. He pulls from an eclectic music palate, genre-blending and fluid in styles, tending to the curation of vibrational relevance to each set produced. His innate ability to channel collective resonance, and capture the space on a journey, is his magic.

Jason has a musical background that draws from playing piano and guitar since childhood, growing up on hip-hop and rock, and hefty time logged on dance floors across the world. Based out of Moab, Utah, heavily involved in community building and event production that ranges from larger festivals, to intimate desert gatherings and ecstatic dance events. He DJs the regional festival circuit and underground frequently, whilst making reoccurring appearances in the iconic scenes of Mexico, South East Asia, and his playa home of Burning Man. Jason is driven with a passion for fostering intentionally woven spaces that are inclusive, conscious, connecting, and sustainable.

Thank you friends for joining me and sharing your embodiment of self expression, community, and radical progressive movement that changes the world. We are better together.

Playing on this stage was so much fun, but also producing this stage, and being able to share it for the weekend of Building Man, was a gift. Thank you to all the amazing artists who shared their passions on this stage ✨

Building Man is a gathering for community, built by community. Every year we get an overwhelming amount of interest in performing at the Jenkstar Ranch. This year we’ve decided to open up some slots at Building Man 2026 to give fresh talent the opportunity to share their craft!

Here’s how to enter to win a slot:

Hey friends, we are doing another Revival event for the Winter Solstice!
This evening marks the shortest day of the year, and the gradual return of longer days. Embracing the darkest day calls in themes of introspection, an inward journey of reflection and release. The sun is born again; a new cycle begins and invites intention setting for the brighter days to come. Join us in honoring the dark and the light in this special dance event.

Jason will DJ an ecstatic dance journey, bringing us through a range of sounds and rhythms, exploring energy and building connection.

Finishing the dance, Rachel will guide us through a soundscape comprised of instruments like quartz crystal and Vedic metal singing bowls, gong, and chimes. Please bring a mat, pillows, blanket, or whatever you will need to be comfortable laying down for the experience.

This is an event of community, open to all that feel called to join. We are creating a shared and agreed upon container, and ask that you
please come with the following guidelines at heart:
Respect- Allow yourself and others to have the freedom of individual experience.
Consent- Listen for a yes, and respect a no.
Clarity- Free of intoxicants.
Presence- No phone or recording. Please save verbal conversation for outside the dance building.
