Here’s the truth, there is an oversupply of homes in the San Antonio luxury real estate market, but for something truly special, demand, by far, exceeds supply. When a home is perfect, with beautiful design, timeless architecture, manicured landscaping, a well-thought-out floor plan, privacy and desirable amenities, buyers are lining up. These properties are rare though.

Our Huntington at Shavano Park listing went under contract for more than asking price after five back-to-back showings on Monday before going on the public market. The photo shoot didn’t even happen until Tuesday. High-end buyers are still active but they aren’t interested in just big square footage, bizarre pseudo-modern architecture, or other trendy gimmicks.
