To the Window to The Wall!!! by @jasonhusseinmurphy

/////////// ADVOCACY IN ACTION ///////////
Today marks one year since the release of GREATNESS: Diverse Designers of Architecture, and it lands during Black History Month, a reminder of why documentation, authorship, and visibility are not optional, but essential.

This book was created to address a persistent gap in our collective record. Women and designers of color have always shaped the built environment, yet too often their contributions are omitted from curricula, citations, and history itself. GREATNESS exists to counter that erasure and to ensure these designers are seen, studied, and remembered.

Architecture is not only about buildings; it is about who we choose to elevate and whose work we deem worthy of preservation. Books like this are tools for accountability, education, and cultural continuity, especially at a moment when history is being questioned, rewritten, or ignored.

As we reflect on this first anniversary, I remain committed to expanding access to this knowledge and supporting platforms that preserve our stories with care and intention. Supporting work like GREATNESS is one way we ensure that the next generation inherits a fuller, more honest record of who shapes our world.

Sending Luv to my Fellas, Bruthas from other motha’s! I found one of the last original sticker flyers that we did to promote the single! I still remember the posters we put up at Up Against The Wall on Georgia Ave! Proud of all of you and what you’ve accomplished, especially Tray Lee for the re-introduction of a classic and the 25 year Anniversry! As a crew, we never truly realized what we had. We were too young to overstand! @powermove_tv @youngguru763 @traceyleeesq @bystormpitts @ddotangelettie @djtonefresh @johnnyjbutler_ @amiri_middy_baraka @agoodwin763 @thecoach763 @ronlawrence @braisedbeats @bustarhymes for the original remix #wewasthere #RNFtildeath #therealhu #ifyouknowyouknow by @jasonhusseinmurphy

These guys music saved my life. Rest in Power Dave from Dela Soul! The song (Trying People) on A.O.I. Bioxnix walked me back from a very dark place back around 2006. I saw him at a club in DC around 2006-2008 after his battle with meningitis.
I met him, dapped him up and hugged him, told him straight up that song (Trying People) saved my life. Thank you Dave, Thank You DelaSoul @powermove_tv @traceyleeesq @thecoach763 @dcdecades @braisedbeats @attaindesign #musicishealing @youngguru763 @olufemigoods @plugwondelasoul @wearedelasoul by @jasonhusseinmurphy
