It is with a heavy heart I write this statement, knowing that from this point on some things will never be the same.

The journey started back in 2012, where a younger and somewhat lost version of me, discovered the art DJ’ing. The first mix I ever made, gave me one of the most joyful feelings I can recall and with that, I was hooked. While music was always a save haven in my somewhat troublesome youth, I never considered it being such a big influence, motivator and mentor, until it did. With all this joy and energy, I decided to play as Odin and the rest is history.

All this that started with a passion and a dream, grew into a way of life and looking back now, I had no idea what was in store for me and I am beyond thankful for everything that came my way. I’ve met long-lasting friends, got my degree at Herman Brood Academie, crossed borders to play, seen countless happy faces, clubs, festivals and all because of the love for music. I guess it is safe to say, that it saved and gave a purpose to my life.

With that being said I also have to face some realities. As of late, I started playing under my own name Jason Lemonth. With that came a sense of freedom I didn’t experience playing as Odin, and as I grow older, I feel a growing need for that freedom. The freedom to be what and who I really am, share the music I really love with the same energy I started this all with.  
Therefore, it is with mixed feelings to announce that I will resign from playing as Odin indefinitely and move on as Jason Lemonth. Odin has brought me everything I know, but I am ready for a new challenge and adventure in life and in music.

As I mentioned before, I am beyond words and filled with an immense sense of gratitude and appreciation towards every soul and organization I have worked with and I can’t thank you enough for all the support and love I have received on this journey.

USA trip picture dump & storytime 🇺🇸!

To be honest this week left me absolutely speechless. I am still searching for the right words to put this all together, but I’ll give it a go anyway.

Still overwhelmed with the all the emotions that come with meeting the other side of my family, 6.067 miles across the Atlantic ocean and all that after 29 years of absence. This event changed both my own and my family’s life and gave me a role model and black resemblance I never knew I needed this bad. We’ve laughed, shed tears, handed out meals to the community, celebrated thanksgiving, went to see my fathers workplace, drank shots, smoked weed, went to church and talked for hours in a attempt to catch up all the years we missed. It’s safe to say this was the best week of my life, and that goes for my father too. Never would I dare to dream this would turn out this way, but it did, and for that I am forever thankful 💕!

A special thanks to my aunt Beverly, for setting all in motion and Vivianne my ‘mom’ for taking good care of me during my stay. For now, Ill be looking through my camera roll and making phone calls until the moment I return, to another place to call…home❤️!

Thanks to everyone who sent me support wishes during the journey - It all added up something to I will never forget.

Dear followers,

Today marks exactly one year since my last post, and I feel like I owe you guys an update. Last year has all been about focussing on real life, the troubles and blessings that come with it and how to deal with those. As I grow older, I realize that being happy, healthy and able to do what you love is most important. To provide and share with the people you hold close, and to grow together! Sometimes that means letting go of old friendships and welcome new ones, breaking old habits and challenging yourself to be better every day! 🙏🏽  Next to all this, its been a real blessing being able to continue my musical adventure and seeing my DJ friends and family again after two years. For now, I want to thank everybody for their continuous support. I can’t wait share all the gigs and news for this year and to celebrate this summer with y’all! ✨❤️

Whatsgood folks!✨

Damn..this one feels weird. After more than a year of silence on my instafeed, I’d like to announce that I’m BACK. The world has been a strange place lately and it felt good to focus on real life, health, friends & family and other stuff alike and I realize now that I needed the break. I discovered and explored my love for american football and joined the @afcnijmegenpirates ,started working a new job at @reelljeans ,launched my own radioprogram “The Morning Show” on @open_source_radio and moved in together with my girl ❤️!

But since things are returning to normal, it’s time to get things back on the road! Starting off this saturday at @de_achtertuin with a bunch of local heroes celebrating life and the end of the lockdown! 🥂🍾

Whatsup guys 💕

2020 has started for a while now, and I know its late, but I still want to wish you the best for the coming year! 2019 again was a crazy addition to this ongoing adventure of me being fortunate enough to play and create the music I love. I cant express how blessed I am about this, and I want to thank you for the ongoing support throughout the years! ❤️🙏🏽 2020 is going to bring some changes as I am parting ways with @topbillinnl . Altho I really appreciated their effort, it didn’t exactly turn out the way I wanted it to be and based on that I had to make this decision. So from now on, for bookings and inquiries just send me a DM, text or email. Next to that I am starting a new team and focus around our local baby @chocolade024 on which I will share more soon.
