A week later and it still doesn’t feel real👀👀 Shoutout to everyone ever!! I truly am blessed to be surrounded by such amazing family, friends, and mentors. Everything that I am today is because of you, and I’m grateful for that. To @morganbbias , THE Ms. UAB, you are beyond qualified and beyond deserving! I can’t wait to have so much fun growing into this role with you and serving our university!! To @jdslowikowski and @manasa_vadapalli , both of you are amazing souls! You both are a light in every room you walk into, and I’m excited to work with you! @uabalumni, Thank you for this honor! I’ve had an amazing time getting to know everyone these last few weeks and I’m looking forward to this year. Let’s work!! To the rest of Top 10, I’m grateful that I could spend the week with you all, some of the most selfless and iconic student leaders on this campus!! Psalm 115:1 - “not to us, Lord, not to us but to your name be the glory, because of your love and faithfulness.” To God be the glory, for without Him, I am nothing. I thank God for UAB and the 20,000+ blessings that call this campus home. Ever faithful, ever loyal, and ever blessed, Go blazers🐉 by @jasonmbila
What’s up Blazer Fam❕❕ I’m super blessed, excited, and honored to share that I’ve been selected as a Top 5 Finalist for the 2026-27 Mr. UAB! I’ve grown in so many ways during my time here thus far, and it would be an understatement to simply say that UAB and the Birmingham community have changed my life for the better. Serving as Mr. UAB would give me the opportunity to contribute to something bigger than myself, giving back to the very community that I call my home. Voting opens Thursday, October 8th at 7AM and closes Friday October 9th at 7PM. Link in Bio👀👀 No matter what happens, I’m thankful for this opportunity and excited for what the future holds as a Blazer! Ever Faithful, Ever Loyal, Goooooo Blazers🐉🐉 📸: @melimam07 ‼️‼️ by @jasonmbila
