*Milestone Moment* - Sharing about the future of Storytelling. More individuals from marginalized groups will be bold enough to tell stories, and communities will come together to support them, forcing decision makers to open the doors wider. I never imagined I’d be speaking at San Diego Comic-Con this soon…and it was a huge reminder of where I’ve been and where I’m going. But most importantly of where I currently am. *****************************************The day before this panel I was ready to give up on Lost Children and my dream of building this universe, of being a storyteller in general. I was in full on meltdown mode the week this was supposed to happen. I was ready to hang it up because I didn’t believe I could weather the storm. Not only the storm already swarming around me, but the even bigger storm I saw on the horizon. But San Diego Comic Con was the place I was meant to be at that very time. I had some powerful conversations with these fellow speakers at @sdcc2022 , a couple in particular, that reminded me that this life isn’t for the faint of heart. I reconnected to my vision. And I showed up. I was at fricking SAN DIEGO comic con for heaven’s sake!!I’m getting back out there and trying things a different way, and I thank my support system for not letting me give up. 🙏🏾Special thanks to @impact24pr for this opportunity. by @jasonmichaelprimrose

If looks could kill 🔪Murder Mystery Dinner w/ @kie.mckenzie Hosted at @palaciodogrilo by @onceuponatile.eu - the event features the exciting birthday of Mr. Chardonnay, a man wrapped in luxury and secrets. The brainchild of Lana, this interactive show has been a dream of hers since she was young. Congratulations to her and the team for bringing this to life! As guests, we enjoyed amazing food, lots of great conversation, and performances. I loved all of the little touches they put on the show, from the QR codes with links to character IGs to the envelopes to the personally addressed menus, and especially the fun games and puzzles we got to play at our tables. ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ by @jasonmichaelprimrose

“I want to work with small brands and independent designers to showcase their work and create movements in their clothing” - me, 9 months ago. This is my second official collab and this type of expression through style is one of my confirmed happy places. I fell in love with @shernas.vibe last year on a trip to Barcelona. When I got the idea to launch @dancelovereurope I started reaching out to the designers that I had purchased from to see if they’d be interested in a collaboration where we incorporated dance and movement into their social content. @shernas.vibe was down!! So we planned a meet up, where did some photos and some videos. It was so lovely to hear about her process, how she started, and to see the sketches become reality. I particularly enjoy her philosophy around slow fashion, the sustainable use of fabric and small collections with limited distribution. I walked away with some really cool, one of a kind pieces, and a new creative friend! Thank you @shernas.vibe ! More to come soon :) by @jasonmichaelprimrose
