Two of my biggest heroes in all of music, @bradmehldauofficial & @kurtisrosenwinkel , playing at the amazing new jazz club in NYC, @jazzcultural ; both with incredible bands and within a couple weeks of each other. Checking out Kurt's "Riptet" band tonight on the live stream...killer band & super inspiring! Can't wait to get up to the city and check out Jazz Cultural! by @jasonthomasnewman

Morning session. Sight reading a few Bach Chorales and been working on a few of his super inspiring 'Sinfonias', as of late, for myself & private students...along with a couple pieces from one of my personal favorite sets in all of music, Mendelssohn's wondrous 'Songs Without Words'. Always more to learn and discover. by @jasonthomasnewman
