Not sure what turned the world on its head but it worked out grand for me, pizza bone Sunday on the couch ! A fella can’t wish for anything better than that - no wait, what’s better my smooth brother Riley didn’t hear the first 2 pizza bones being crunched before he came over and I had to share the rest.

Inktober Day 18: FLIGHTLESS!
Cleared for take-off, Pals!

Today’s model has one ear pointing skywards and the other sticking slightly sideways. I’m not sure his wings are quite working together! But he is the happiest and handsome scale 10

And look at that smile! He’s clearly having the time of his life, even if he’s not getting off the ground anytime soon.

Personally, I think four paws firmly on the ground is a much safer way to travel!

I am snoopervising those electrical boys working, if they blow themselves up it’s my job to get on the blower to the fire track to hose them down.

I napped a couple of times on the job, don’t worry they didn’t see me and there were no flames so it’s all good.

They didn’t call me in to work either, just as well I think I’m probably better at chewing cables than connecting them!

Do you know why the new electrician Ian get a shock when he met me?
Because I’m a ‘wired’ haired terrier, Pals, and apparently my wiring is a little faulty! - ha by @jasperdmac

Inktober Day 17: CONTRAPTION!

Now Pals, I’ve never understood these contraptions called harnesses. All those straps, buckles and clips just to go for a walk!

Personally, if you put one on me, I simply stop. Not another step! And between you and me, sometimes I think even a collar is too much to ask!

Apparently, some terriers quite happily wear these things, including today’s lovely model, who looks rather pleased with herself.

What about you, Pals? Are you happy wearing a harness, do you prefer a collar, or would you rather wear nothing at all going naked ?

So you won’t believe what happened pals - she took the cover off my bed to wash it… well I like comfort so wasn’t going to sleep on the floor like any old dog, and laying on my camp bed when the opportunity to pull - yes I did you better believe I did … pull the bed insides over to try that, then that wasn’t quite right so I put them back where they belong.

I got the whole lecture about inner hygiene - i have learned to tune her out when she gets going

Mum says there are no flys on me … no idea what that means by @jasperdmac

Inktober Day 16: GANGLY!

As puppies, we’re all a bit gangly. All legs, oversized paws and bits that don’t quite seem to fit together. Then one day, we grow into ourselves and it all balances out!

Today’s little terrier is one of my good pal’s sister, back when she was just a youngster and still figuring out what to do with all those legs!

I think she makes the perfect model for today’s prompt.

There is nothing like the joy of watching on of your pals carving up a chicken.
My eyes nearly popped out of my head when I saw it come out of the hot thing.
I wonder if she will give me extra gravy if I asked nicely by @jasperdmac

Inktober Day 15: HOORAY!
HOORAY for beach days!

The wind in your hair, sand between your paws and a great big smile. What more could a dog want?

Today’s terrier certainly knows how to celebrate a day at the beach!
I just know that magnificent beard must take a lot of washing and brushing afterwards. This girl must love being pampered, that’s for sure!

Now Pals, do you love the beach, or would you rather skip the sand and all that bathing afterwards?

See you in the morning. I have to go dream of cheese slices and mums beautiful eyes ( working her because did I tell you I have requested an increase in my pawket money for being a extra good boy because I have gone deaf so can’t hear all the annoying stuff anymore)

Inktober Day 14: LADY

Well Pals, you all know this little lady is rather special to me. So it had to be my one and only true love (apart from mum)

She’s my lady friend, my sweetheart and, as some of you may remember, my fiancée! Yes Pals, the announcement has already been made.

She’s got beautiful eyes, a magnificent beard and a hairstyle that makes my heart skip a beat.

Wears her whiskers with pride (most ladies don’t !) has a rather magnificent beard (that some boys would be envious of it) and clearly believes that a good hair day is entirely optional!

I may be a little biased, but I think she’s quite wonderful.

I wonder sometimes if she thinks of me as a kite and that’s why she has this line attached to me …

Inktober Day 13: FLIMSY!
Normally this little girl’s ears hang down, but apparently today they’ve decided to become wings!

A rather flimsy pair of wings, I might add, but with a running start and plenty of determination, she’s giving flying a go!

Whether she’ll actually get off the ground is another matter entirely.
