Ok I’m pretty devastated so I’m making a sappy post…. I moved to Eugene in 2020 with hopes of getting a job at Tactics and somehow scored a job at the warehouse in the first week of living here. Being the only girl working in the warehouse I was pretty fucking intimidated at first, but I quickly realized I was surrounded by a bunch of guys who would become life long friends, and would look out for me when I needed it. I gripped thousands of boards, shipped hundreds of orders, stacked what felt like a million pallets of boxes and actually started to learn flat ground tricks I didn’t even think I could do. Working with my friends and getting to skate on the clock was actually like a dream come true and I was so bummed to leave in 2022 when my mental health took a nose dive hehe. Fast forward 3 years and they finally hired me in the fucking shop!!!!! A dream of mine since I first stepped foot through the doors in 2017. I’m bummed my time in the shop was so short after wanting it for so long but I am so fucking thankful that I finally got the chance to help the eugene skate scene face to face. Thank you to all the homies I’ve met working for Tactics, thanks for the laughs and the skate advice and for making moving to a new city not so scary. I’m gonna miss this job so fucking much but hopefully the future holds something better for all of us! ❤️ #FUCKMARCROCA by @jaspergonz
