ONE WEEK FROM TODAY: ROSALYNN RETURNS TO NEW YORK.

Last year, we took a chance and brought our Los Angeles supper club to New York. All three nights sold out.

Now we’re coming back with something even more ambitious.

On October 28 and 29, Rosalynn takes over Art Gotham, located inside the historic Hamilton-Holly House at 4 St. Marks Place—once home to Eliza Hamilton, Alexander Hamilton Jr. and the Hamilton family.

For two nights, we’re transforming this landmark East Village space into *COMPOSITION 001: A Hollywood Soirée*—an intimate dinner installation inspired by Old Hollywood glamour and the energy of New York.

The new menu brings together what Rosalynn has become known for: California coastal ingredients, punchy Asian flavors, dramatic presentation and dishes that feel familiar until they don’t.

Expect dry-aged duck confit, Wagyu tartare, scallop kinilaw, cured kanpachi, freshly shaved truffles and caviar over dan dan noodles, and nam jim-glazed Australian Wagyu.

Cocktail hour begins at 7 PM.
Dinner begins at 8 PM.

Only two nights. Approximately 30 seats each evening.

Wednesday, October 28
Thursday, October 29
Art Gotham · 4 St. Marks Place
$265 per guest

Tickets are now available through Resy and Tock.

This is COMPOSITION 001.

I have so many thoughts from last weekend’s Rise & Dine LA hosted by @hexclad. This is definitely a multi-post series — bear with me. I still am wrapping my head around all of it.

Scroll all the way to see @gordongram lecture me as an Idiot Sandwich 🥪

First of all — holy cow. I not only got to meet, but make Wellingtons and run a line alongside the icon @gordongram and his executive chefs @salernonick19 and @diego_echavarria. The entire team’s aura is unreal, and their technical ability to execute at the highest level, dish after dish, is something to truly marvel at. I learned so much and had so much fun with the guys. They say don’t meet your idols. I beg to differ 100 times over.

Secondly, I don’t think it really hit me until a week later just how monumental this culinary event was. We had been working on this for months with the team at HexClad, and based on the talent involved, we knew it would be huge. But actually being there — absorbing knowledge from each team, watching what Shannon, Mike, and the HexClad crew set up after weeks of sourcing ingredients for 300+ guests across multiple chef teams, syncing with the Riviera team and @mrchefbrett who kept the team fueled and glued, getting our team @rosalynnsupperclub (and additional chef hires) up to the challenge — and ultimately staying calm under pressure while each star chef stood next to me — was something I could never fully prepare for.

This felt like the Ryder Cup on steroids in terms of culinary execution. Four dishes, four different teams, all running simultaneously, all while trying to ensure consistency across the board with dozens of chefs in one kitchen. There were definitely learning moments, but every single chef showed up and made it happen.

Everyone wants to run a supper club. Until they see what it actually takes. 😂
The glamorous part? Beautiful food, incredible guests, packed dining rooms, and unforgettable nights.

The part nobody talks about? The weeks of planning, menu development, sourcing, staffing, vendor coordination, logistics, budgeting, and the occasional 2 AM existential crisis. Flying a team to New York, getting the local teams synced (thankfully they’re amazing), missing luggage and more.

And that’s before we’ve even served the first course.

Tonight’s dinner is officially wrapped, but instead of calling it a night, we’re back at our laptops making adjustments for tomorrow’s event.

Why? Because sometimes your original rental company completely falls through, essential items are missing, and suddenly you’re figuring out Plan B, C, and probably D.

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned in hospitality? It’s not about whether things go wrong. It’s about how quickly you can pivot when they do.

Your guests shouldn’t have to experience the chaos behind the scenes. They should experience the magic you promised them.

After years of building @rosalynnsupperclub and helping dozens of other supper clubs along the way, I’ve learned that adaptability is just as important as creativity.

Tomorrow’s pop-up is officially SOLD OUT, and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone joining us.

Would I do it all over again? Absolutely.

Would I recommend it to everyone? Let’s discuss that after I’ve found the missing rentals. 😂

Welcome to the less glamorous side of hospitality. I’ll be sharing more of the wins, mistakes, lessons, and everything that goes into making these experiences happen.

I’m back in New York, and we’re getting ready to set one of the most special tables Rosalynn has ever built.

Next week, we take over Art Gotham inside the landmarked Hamilton-Holly House on St. Marks Place—once home to Eliza Hamilton and her family. For two nights, the gallery becomes our supper club: a long, candlelit table, dramatic Old Hollywood details, art on the walls and thirty guests gathered around it each night.

This is COMPOSITION 001, and we’re bringing a menu made for this room and this city:

✦ Dry-aged duck confit crispy taco with cherry tomato jam
✦ Wagyu beef tartare with yuzu Caesar and roasted seaweed
✦ Scallop kinilaw with persimmon, cucumber and herbs
✦ Cured kanpachi crudo with white shoyu tomato water, shiso and caviar
✦ Sesame dan dan noodles with white truffle chili crunch, shaved truffle and caviar
✦ Nam jim-glazed Australian Wagyu flank with charred potato and seasonal vegetables

Last year, we brought Rosalynn to New York and sold out three dinners. Coming back feels personal. I want you to see what we’ve been building in LA, sit at this table with us and be part of the first chapter of something new.

October 28 & 29 · Art Gotham, 4 St. Marks Place
Cocktail hour at 7 PM · Dinner at 8 PM
Limited seats available. Tickets on Resy and Tock—link in bio.

New York, I can’t wait to cook for you. 🖤

One last dinner in the sky. 🌅

For the second-to-last evening of our Summer Series, Market in the Sky, we partnered with @weiserfamilyfarms and @hiddenfarmla to build an entire menu around the season’s harvest:

Potato Creme Fraiche with @astrea_caviar
Melon & Cucumber Salad
Steak & Potato Salad
Conehead Cabbage & Shishitos
Hamachi & Persimmon Crudo
Spicy Kimchi Vodka Fusilli
Apple & Quince Crumble

And we’re still thinking about Chef Julia’s melon butter mochi. It was easily one of our favorite bites of the night.

A huge thank-you to all the growers, makers and friends who joined us and helped bring the market to life: @weiserfamilyfarms, @something.good.treats, @hangrythaiger, @eat.salo and @jumieceramics.

Now there’s only one dinner left. Join us on October 24 for the final Rosalynn Summer Series dinner of the year. Tickets are available through the link in our bio via @exploretock @resy

A delicious meal and a beautiful and memorable night at Hwaro! 🥰🫶🏻🫶🏻 love in the air and love in our tummies!! by @jasperhlynn

I’ve always believed that a great dinner is about so much more than what’s on the plate.

I’ve had a hand in several dozen supper clubs, whether it was helping launch a concept, offering creative direction, sharing advice, or supporting fellow chefs and founders along the way.

And through it all, I’ve learned one thing: great food gets people to the table, but great hospitality makes them want to stay.

Today, I’m fortunate to be behind @rosalynnsupperclub, one of the longest-running supper clubs in the country. We’re about to celebrate six years of @rosalynnsupperclub and I’ve learned a lot along the way. Some lessons came from incredible nights. Others? Well, let’s just say they were educational. 😂

That’s why I’m starting The Art of Hosting, a series where I’ll share some of the things I’ve picked up over the years, from creating the right atmosphere and curating experiences to the little details that turn a good dinner into an unforgettable evening.

Because hosting isn’t just about the menu. It’s about the music, the lighting, the energy, the conversations, and making people feel like they belong.

I don’t believe there’s one perfect formula, but I do believe the best hosts are always learning.

So here are 10 rules I live by when it comes to bringing people together.
Good food. Great company. Everything in between.

What’s one hosting rule you swear by?

MARKET IN THE SKY. 🌿
For one of the last this season of ROSALYNN SUMMER SERIES, we’re opening the gates early.

Beginning at 4 PM, the bottom of @HiddenFarmLA becomes a small open-air market featuring growers, makers, pet treats, tea, seasonal produce, and more — with a special welcome from Farmer Alex Weiser of @WeiserFamilyFarms himself.

Come early, wander the market, meet the people behind what you’re eating, and pick up a few things to take home.

Then, as golden hour settles over Los Angeles, we’ll head up the hill for dinner — with Weiser Family Farms produce woven throughout the menu, celebrating what’s growing right now in the height of the California crop season.

Market at 4 PM. Dinner at sunset.

So why am I dressed like a cat rolling around on the floor? 😹
Before we cooked up the Tidiest of Feasts for the @purina + @tidycats team, they put us through training at the Special Litter Unit in SoHo.

Laser cages, agent testing, adoptable kittens, custom cat mugshots… and somehow Steph and I made it out as Certified Agents. 🕵️🐾

Safe to say, this was one of the more unusual ways we’ve prepped for a dinner.

Thank you to the Tidy Cats team for having us in NYC. Now off to prep for dinner!
