Had the absolute honour to once again paint a commission for @justseum and @edward_spence_ for the Fourth Age actual play. I've improved so much ever since the first painting of these wonderful characters in this fantastic story, I feel like I'm saying goodbye to friends! The epilogue will livestream early next year and I'm going to shed so many tears. by @jaspermillerart

Over the last 8 weeks I took part in paulscottcanavan's amazing Mastering Imaginative Realism mentorship. I learned SO much! If you're looking to push yourself and level up your paintings, I can't recomment this mentorship enough. Bonus, the timezones are perfect for euro folks.

And the last one in this set. I've been sitting on a few photo refs for a while from a couples' pack, and this is the perfect opportunity to paint these two. The lighting setup was too perfect!

Feeling so honoured to be voted Best character Artist in the @critawards! Thank you everyone who voted for me, and a huge congrats to my fellow nominees and winners.

Thanks to @justseum, @edward_spence_ , and the entire team who made The Fourth Age the beautiful production it is. by @jaspermillerart

A personal MTG style illustration that's been in WIP hell for over a year and may never be complete, so I thought I'd share what I have so far, plus all the thumbs I made for it. May pick it up again in the future, but I'd likely rework the entire foundation by creating it in blender to get the lighting right. Enjoy, anyway! by @jaspermillerart

My second study in preparation for a Liveship Traders illustration I'm working on. This time it's of Ivan Aivazovsky's "The Ninth Wave". I've found I really REALLY enjoy painting the ocean and clouds. by @jaspermillerart

I've illustrated so many tarot cards over the past couple of years. Here's a selection of them! It was definitely a fun style experiment. For now these types of commissions are as special requests only and not as part of my regular offering - I'm working on melding my painted style into this more stylised illustration. by @jaspermillerart

I've been chipping away at a personal illustration (a scene from The Liveship Traders by Robin Hobb) so naturally that means doing some sea studies.

This one is based on a photograph by Matt Palmer, under the Unsplash Free license. by @jaspermillerart

Fresh commission for Nate of D&D character Imari (they/them)! This design was so cool - a jade-skinned genasi who uses a rope dart and psionic powers. I had a blast rendering that skin! by @jaspermillerart
