🎶 ✨WHAT AN INCREDIBLE 6 MONTHS! ✨🎶

Feeling incredibly grateful and honored to have spent the last 6 months under the mentorship of the one and only BAFTA-nominated composer, Chris Mann (@networkofsound)!

What a transformative journey it has been, diving deep into the world of composition, learning the ins and outs of the music industry, and understanding what it truly takes to be a composer today.

Chris, your guidance, wisdom, and encouragement have been invaluable. You’ve taught me not just about the technical aspects of composing, but also how to navigate this ever-evolving industry with creativity, integrity, and resilience. Your passion and dedication to your craft have inspired me beyond words, and I’m so grateful for the countless lessons, stories, and insights you’ve shared.

Over these months, I’ve experienced growth that I can hardly put into words, and I feel more ready than ever to embrace the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.

There’s so much to be excited about, and I can’t wait to see where this journey will take me next… 🚀🎼

A huge thank you to @IvorsAcademy and @Helpmusicians for the incredible Co-pilot Mentorship programme that made this opportunity possible! 🙌💛 Your support for emerging talent is truly making a difference, and I’m so thankful to have been a part of this amazing initiative!

3 years ago I wrote a winning entry to the @uniofsurrey Carol Composition Competiton 2021 whilst I was studying there as a music student with @surreydmm !

3 years on it is still on of my favourite pieces of music I have ever written and I am so so proud of it! I am still so honoured to have been declared a/the winner of this competition! Choral music has since become one of my absolute obsessions both in listening and writing!

@ralphallwood I hope I’ve done choral music proud! 🎄

Film comes out on 8th December so if you’re enticed by the trailer so keep an eye out!

Have met up with some incredible friends over this weekend!! I had the most incredible pleasure meeting up with @rossbaillie_eames and @odysseasmusic

Having grown up feeling alone and not having many friends, to having such incredibles friends like these, it truly feels like I am defying my past and creating what I always knew I could - amazing friendships with amazing people. In true fashion of the times, I really do feel like I am defying Gravity!! 🧙‍♀️

Relating to one another is so important when working in creative industries and feeling like you’re not alone is vital to our existence. Friends like these are so important, never underestimate that.

As the sun sets over one of the highest points in Essex and being in the midst of a dog walk, I felt inspired to write some music that captures the essence of the season’s tranquility and beauty. Here’s “Autumnal Ambience”. 🍂✨🎶
