words are magic, so is music 🔮

certain chords can feel so rich, so sensual, so spacious in the way they resonate. memories and feelings, pleasant nostalgia and heartbreak, the stories of people moving around the earth, the things they left behind, the footsteps of our ancestors: these are all there, perfectly preserved, just waiting to be heard, to be discovered in somebody's song

for you, a little fairy serenade that came to me 🧚‍♀️it reminds me of being very small, having far less to worry about, and sharing stories in the garden.

(still very much a work in progress)

making this song a few summers ago with @akinsoul was really special. the guitar part was hard, but writing and playing this, was one of those experiences which just brought me much closer to the instrument
