we all have a story.
we all have a past.
there are parts of our story we wish were never written & others we wish we could stay in longer.
there are chapters in our story that are filled with different versions of ourselves — some we loved & some not so much.

I know my story is messy & at one time I truly drifted from the person God designed me to be.

but thank God I am not the same person I once was.

we serve a God who specializes in soul transformations.

He is the Author of our life from beginning to end — but there are time we take the pen out of His hands & try to write the story ourselves.

we try to control, fix, manage, & figure it all out on our own.

& when we do, we end up sitting in a season or a version of ourselves that God is gently calling us out of — nudging us to rise, move, & step into His purpose & who He created us to be.

that’s why we must give God back the ownership as Author — because when He writes the story, there’s redemption, healing, & purpose.

& that’s where our testimony begins.

it can be painful to share our story & who we once were, but there is power in our testimony.

it reminds us of His faithfulness, grace, truth, & love.
strengthens & helps others who are struggling.
& shines light on the God who saves & transforms lives.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.”
— 2 Corinthians 5:17
