Rhythmically driven, poetically devout and reduced to the essential. Saxofon and bass intertwines with percussion and voice in this minimalistic duo

This April we went to Tallinn to record again with our good friend @marcelochacurpolitano and this time we were joined by @joaoluisperc to groove with us in the studio.

We worked on new material for quartet and recorded 3 new songs in the studio. It is the first part of our new album which will be released early 2027!

There will be more things happening with Javentu as a quartet and quintet and we are very excited. Next stop will be Denmark in September for the second recording session.

Thanks to @ed.the.reitman for the great recording skills (and video material) and to @emta_ee for the use of their studios and big thanks to @culturemoveseurope and @goetheinstitut for the mobility support! by @javentu

New single out today!

Sun Gaze - We Variation (by Fanny Thollot)

Fanny Thollot made a Remix of our song Sun Gaze during the creation process of WE - Nosaltres I el Temps by @malpelo_dance in our time at @lanimalalesquena

She has been working with them over the last many years and has an incredible sense for creating music for dance performances, creating soundscapes that fits the scenes and dramaturgy.

We're so excited about this collaboration
Give it a listen!

We had so much fun playing at Turkis(DK) back in September. Our debut concert in Aarhus! Big love for that venue. Here's a little capture of the evening.

Thanks for coming out! We look forward to next time!

We have some recordings as a quartet planned in the next year, and a music video coming out soon.
More to come! Stay tuned.

Back from our time in Denmark!
We had a wonderful concert in @turkisaarhus last week with these two wonderful people and musicians @nadinudius and Jakob De Place. Won't be the last time we play with them!

Thank you to the wonderful people in the audience and the people at @turkisaarhus for making it such a great place! With live visuals projected on stage! Can't wait to be back!

We also had the pleasure of teaching a workshop for @mgk_ost and @frontsession at @turkisaarhus in dance and rhythm.
Thanks to the students for the good vibes!

Before that we had a residency at @thegardenstudio_dk making new music in the wonderful surroundings of Djursland and playing at the SOBREMESA with amazing food from @vinklerjakob

JAVENTU "caught in between" a traffic jam concert and performance in a city bus moving through Salzburg.

Biiig thank you to @ttat_festival, @fraeuleinflorasbg and @salzburgverkehr for this unique oportunity. 😊

@is.thisnis and @juliaauladell where dancing between the audience and @fanzyjakob filmed and edited this wonderful video!!!

The same day the @globalsumudflotilla started from tunis, so we sent some symbolical paper boats as a little support.❤️🍉🍉🍉❤️
