Sooo this is over two months late lol but here we go.

DLP was an absolute blast! It was one of the most challenging, yet rewarding summers of my life. Campus Outreach has been such a blessing to me over the last ~2.5 years. To spend my summer growing in my faith with all these brothers and sisters was so amazing. Miss it so much already. I wish I could’ve posted all the hundreds of pictures and videos I took. As of today, I’ve officially lived half of my life in Texas. When I first moved here 11 years and 3 days ago, I was sad because I was really going to miss my friends back in Jersey. I wasn’t exactly looking forward to having to make new friends. Looking back now, while I still love and miss everyone back in Jersey, I’m so blessed to have made so many friends and memories here in Texas. I knew I wasn’t going to be able to fit everyone over the past 11+ years, so I decided to just share what I could find from just this past year. This year has genuinely been one of the best of my life, and a lot of that is due to the amazing friends that have been by my side. I’m so grateful for all of you, and looking forward to all the memories we have yet to make! by @javrared6

I had initially planned on including these in my semester dump, but I think such a meaningful part of my senior year deserved its own post.

When I first joined SGA, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect. I knew there were changes I wanted to see at UNT, and I wanted the opportunity to contribute however I could. I definitely didn’t expect to invest as much time and energy into it as I did. A lot of my spring was spent writing legislation, including ideas that never made it to the Senate floor, but every project taught me something.

Like any meaningful experience, my time in SGA had its ups and downs. Looking back, I’m grateful for all of it because every challenge helped me grow. I learned a lot about collaboration, advocacy, and leadership, and developed skills I’ll carry with me into my career and beyond.

Thank you to everyone I had the chance to serve alongside. I’m grateful for the friendships, the conversations, the challenges, and the memories. To everyone continuing in SGA, keep listening to the students you represent and never lose sight of why you’re there. Hey y’all! Just wanted to share something I’m really excited about.

This summer, I’ve been accepted to the Denver Leadership Project with Campus Outreach. It’s a program focused on growing in faith, evangelism, and leadership alongside other college students.

As I get ready to graduate, I see this as a chance to be intentionally equipped one last time before stepping into what’s next. Campus Outreach has played a big role in my growth during college, and I want to finish strong.

Such an honor to perform this solo. I’ve told many people how this song was genuinely life changing for me freshman year of college. It was a glimpse of the camaraderie GB fosters. To close out my marching career performing it makes it extra special. Once again, thank you, GB.

As 2025 comes to a close, so does my marching career. Not sure I knew exactly what I was getting myself into 8 years ago, but I’ve learned so much throughout this chapter of my life. I’ve made so many friends and memories that’ll last a lifetime. It’s been awesome to be a part of such a historic season and witness it firsthand. Man, what a season to end on. I told myself I would only do marching band in college at 2 of the schools that I applied to, which UNT was one of. I’m definitely glad I landed here because these last 4 seasons have been some of the best times of my life. And in all 4 of those seasons I never walked alone. Thank you, GB.
