It’s a blessing to play this game as long as I have, but it is time. Some know that I played the second half of last season on a fractured lower tibia. It was important to me to finish the season. Though it was painful, I wanted to continue. Following the season I rested. Took months off kicking in hopes all wounds would heal. Turns out the ligaments in my ankle were not happy. Following a long series of medical trials, including multiple rounds of injections, nothing has worked. These past 7 months have been mentally and physically challenging. Though there is typically no pain to walk, jog, or any do other everyday activities, my ankle can no longer take the impact of kicking. My playing days may be over, but my goal of coaching is alive and well!! Thank you God for the opportunity to put on my helmet and lace up my cleats each day. This childhood dream was not left on the pillow. Thank you Chapman. Thank you Perrysburg. Thank you Lord. 2 Timothy 4:7- I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. TL;DR (no more playing football. God is good) by @jax.hudson
