Spoken by Khenpo Karthar Rinpoche
Aspiration Prayer for Those Who Do Harm In The Public Sphere

By the Truth of the Realization and Wisdom of all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in Countless Realms, throughout the Ten Directions, may this Person gradually transcend their Current Limitations, meet Spiritual Friends, enter The Path, and gain Liberation.

Thank you Lama @wesley.kathy for sharing this. by @jaxbuddhist

In this ever-changing world there are two important things that we should keep in mind. The first is self-examination. We should reexamine our own attitude toward others and constantly check ourselves to see whether we are practicing properly.
Before pointing our finger at others, we should point it toward ourselves. Second, we must be prepared to admit our faults and stand corrected.

How can we avoid being “triggered” by our loved ones during the holiday period?
“If I understand that ideas and opinions are just thoughts, and ways of thinking that the other person is sharing by speaking, then my perception is more clear. I do not have to agree or disagree. Just by listening to their views, I do not take sides... these are only words, and opinions, and do not have to be the absolute truth for me. Based on my experience and understanding, I can have other views and opinions.”

Kindness is a wonderful two-way street: like so many good things, the more we give it away, the more it will grow in us, nourishing our happiness like water that we use to feed the flowers.
