⏰️ WEDNESDAY 10/28 @ 5:30 PM 📍 Corner of Southside Blvd and Beach Blvd 🇨🇺 NO WAR ON CUBA! 🇨🇺 ¡CUBA SÍ BLOQUEO NO! Next week, the UN will once again vote on a resolution seeking a stop to the US blockade on Cuba. Every year, the world overwhelmingly votes in support of ending the blockade with two entities consistently voting against: the United States and "israel". Already, as reported by Al Jazeera, the Trump regime has been trying to threaten other countries to vote against the resolution, and Trump is dead-set on using US veto power in the UN to once again block the resolution from passing. Enough is enough! We cannot stand by as the US inflicts collective punishment on Cuba, the first and longest-standing recognizer of Palestinian statehood in the western hemisphere. The forced starvation and blockade of basic resources imposed on Cuba by the US is nothing less than another genocide. It has been called "The Silent Genocide" but we will NOT be silent! Join JPSN as we picket to demand an end to the blockade and that Trump stop his advances of a war with Cuba, as part of the national day of action being called by NNOC and endorsed by AWAN. HANDS OFF CUBA! HANDS OFF LATIN AMERICA! END THE BLOCKADE! NO WAR WITH CUBA! by @jaxpsn

Swipe to learn about US involvement in the occupation of Gaza. The Palestinian people have never folded or faltered, and we must embody their strength in the belly of the beast. Stay tuned for upcoming actions/meetings 🗓️ GAZA IS NOT FOR SALE! by @jaxpsn

⚠️ASHLEY MOODY IS TOO SCARED OF PROTESTORS TO PUBLICIZE HER EVENT!😱 Ashley Moody and Aaron Bean's so-called "meet and greet" has declined to "meet". They have shown their cowardice in the face of our threat to protest and subsequently HAVE NOT PUBLISHED THE LOCATION, EVEN TO THE PEOPLE WHO RSVPED, for her so-called "public" event. We take this as proof that these zionists and warmongers fear the pressure and demands of the people! ⏰️ JPSN will still be rallying and picketing later today at 5:30 PM, on the corner of Beach and Southside! See you there! by @jaxpsn
⚠️GET READY! EMERGENCY ACTION THIS WEDNESDAY, LOCATION TO BE ANNOUNCED! ⚠️ WARHAWKS ARE NOT WELCOME IN JACKSONVILLE! HANDS OFF 🇨🇺🇵🇸🇮🇷🇻🇪🇱🇧 Ashley Moody, the 2nd largest AIPAC recipient in Florida, has time and time agains used her position in the senate to promote war, zionism, sanctions, and interventions all over the world. She is one of the main forces enforcing Trump’s so-valled "Donroe Doctrine" attacks on Latin American self-determination, especially in Cuba and Venezuela. Both she and Aaron Bean have consistently voted for more funding to Israel and to cut money for real human needs here at home. WE CANNOT LET THEM COME AND GO IN OUR TOWN WITHOUT BEING SHAMED! Their "meet and greet" event still has not published a location, but when it does, we will be there to make noise and demand they end their disgusting support for war and imperialism! by @jaxpsn

ALL OUT FOR DIVESTMENT 🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸 ⏰️ 10/22 @ 5:30 PM 📍1 West Adams St It's time for Jacksonville to divest from zionist companies that have facilitated the genocide in Palestine, including Teva Pharmaceuticals. Not only has Teva directly supported the IOF, they are also a top supplier of fentanyl in the US. And still, the Jacksonville Police and Fire Pension Fund (PFPF) has invested MILLIONS in Teva and their poison! The PFPF Board has responded to our demands by trying to wipe their hands of responsibility: they say that investment decisions in the tax dollars we entrust to them are made by a third party investment firm, Loomis Sayles. That is a lie! The board has the legal and contractual ability to send an advisory to Loomis Sayles to stop future investments in Teva based on public concern for its financial viability, and they have heard in person from several concerned citizens that the junk-rated bonds were a bad investment. Join us outside the board's office to DEMAND our voices be heard! Demand Jax divest from Teva! by @jaxpsn
Jacksonville, FL – Marking the third year since Israel escalated its genocide in Gaza, on October 7, the Jacksonville Palestine Solidarity Network, organized a rally at the Saint John’s Town Center mall to bring attention to the fact that Israel continues its massacres of the Palestinian people and to demand that the U.S. stop sending aid to the Zionist state. Since the ceasefire has taken effect, Al Jazeera reports that Israel has violated it at least 5147 times. These violations include shooting at civilians, raiding residential areas, demolishing at least 273 properties and bombing/shelling Gaza at least 1109 times. All this has resulted in the deaths of almost 1500, the injuries of over 5000 and the detainment of 198 Palestinians. Starting in the evening rush hour with many cars passing by and showing support, the rally kicked off in the heart of the Saint John’s Town Center. JPSN invited a broad coalition to attend, including the UNF chapter of Students for a Democratic Society (SDS), the Jacksonville Community Action Committee, Jacksonville Immigrant Rights Alliance, Jax Democratic Socialists of America, and the Freedom Road Socialist Organization. Speakers and chants focused on the demands to end U.S. aid to Israel´s genocide as well as showing solidarity with the Palestinian people. Conor Cauley of the Freedom Road Socialist Organization stated, “What October 7 revealed to us, is the fact that the U.S. is nothing more than a greedy, warmongering empire and Israel is its cruel genocidal proxy state. It is now clear to us that we share a common enemy in that empire. While we have to beg year after year for better jobs, better healthcare and better education, our government not only ignores our pleas but sends billions of our own tax dollars to aid in Israel’s genocide.” Conor continued, “The FRSO is proud to stand with the Palestinian people and their resistance, and we demand an immediate end to all US aid to Israel! Because we know the masses do not want to pay for genocide! We don't want war with Iran! And we don't want war with Lebanon! What we want is a free Palestine!” ...Read more on fightbacknews.org by @jaxpsn
We’ve heard time and time again about the deplorable conditions at Folkston ICE Processing Center. Detainees have managed to show video of dead animals rotting for months in their cells. Medical neglect, insufficient and unsafe food, and unsanitary conditions are the norm at this GEO Group’s hyper-profitable torture machine. Now, at least 500 detainees are hunger striking to demand better conditions, and YOU can support them by joining JIRA’s caravan from Jacksonville to Folkston! The strikers demand an end to abusive treatment, the right to due process, and immediate release. We support these demands and further call for a TOTAL SHUTDOWN of Folkston ICE Processing Center! 🚧 CARAVAN FOR FOLKSTON HUNGER STRIKERS 🗺️ Meet at 3120 Edgewood Ave W. ⌚️ On Sunday, October 18 @ 11am FREE OUR PEOPLE, FREE THEM ALL! BREAK THE CHAINS AND LET THEM FALL! ¡EXIGIMOS LIBERTAD! #legalizaciónparatodos #inmigrantesenusa #freethemall #resistencia #latinosenjacksonville by @jaxpsn
Yesterday on the third anniversary of Al Aqsa Flood, the people of Jacksonville showed up and stood up for Palestine, honoring the heroic sacrifices of the Palestinian people and remembering the martyrs as they demanded an end to our complicity in genocide, apartheid, colonialism and occupation. During the three years of accelerated genocide, the Jacksonville Palestine Solidarity Network has been fighting to end our city's role in supporting the occupation, and we will continue fighting, organizing, and educating our community about the Palestinian struggle until Palestine is free. #freepalestine #jacksonville #freepalestine🇵🇸 by @jaxpsn
