Somewhere along the way, a lot of people forgot that business is still about people

Every appointment is an opportunity to build trust not just provide a service

I’ve been fortunate enough to watch clients become friends, mentors, business partners, and people I can genuinely lean on. None of that happened because I gave the best haircut, It happened because I cared about who they were outside of the chair.

Skills get someone in the door,
Relationships are what make them come back.
Treat people well.

The rest tends to take care of itself

I’ve been getting a lot of heartfelt Father’s Day messages today

They’ve all made me smile, but every time I look at my son, I can’t help but think… this day feels just as much about celebrating him.

Becoming a dad has given me more than I could’ve imagined. It’s challenged me, grounded me, and given every day a different kind of purpose.

Today I looked at Phoenix and thanked him for choosing me to be his dad in this lifetime. I promised him I’d always do my best to become the man he deserves. He looked at me… and immediately smacked me in the face since he’s figuring out how to use his hands. 😂

I’ll take that as his way of keeping me humble.

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there. Keep showing up, keep learning, and keep loving

Lately I’ve been realizing that the things I once chased are now the things I get to come home to

Family. Health. Work with purpose.

The older I get, the more I realize that success isn’t always loud

Sometimes it looks like family.
Sometimes it looks like peace.
Sometimes it looks like ordinary days you’ll one day miss.
