IT’S BEEN AWFUL by, Isaiah Rashad

Now playing: Scared 2 Look Down🎶

One of my favorite rap albums that dropped in 2026. After a five year hiatus, Zay approaches this album with familiar sounds and new approaches. Lyrics centered on confessions, flaws, reflections, growth, and more throughout the album that displays a narrative of what we’ve been missing during his five year hiatus. Production is top tier as expected throughout the album. Overall, a solid album displaying why Isaiah Rashad is one of the best to do in the rap game.

Gumbo! by Pink Siifu

Now Playing: Bussin’ (Cold) [feat. Turich Benjy]🎶

Easily becoming one of my top 5 albums of 2021. Pink Siifu has become one of my favorite artists over the past few years. The album Gumbo! has such a creative approach from the production, flows, lyricism, and collabs throughout the album that enhance the sound direction. It is an album that I believe truly showcase what Pink Siifu has to offer as an artist. Displaying southern hip hop roots, neo-soul, alternative rock, punk, modern hip-hop and rap, this album Gumbo! shows the wide range Pink Siifu has.

Blue Eyes by Miki Matsubara

Now playing: Love For Sale🎶

My favorite album from the Miki Matsubara! Blue Eyes is meant for jazz, rnb and soul lovers! Her work is incredible from the compositions she made, to pushing J-pop globally, the diversity in her approaches combining jazz fusion and disco arrangements. A Japanese artist to forever remember.
