⚜️The Importance of Being Ernest⚜️

What a wonderful play and what an honor to play such an iconic character🪻
I never had so much fun on stage and during rehearsals as I had with this play and that is, apart from its incredible writing, due to all the wonderful people that worked on this project🌟

⏳️It's about time⌛️

Mort was actually insane. From the amount of work people put into it, to the finished product that is something that we can be so incredibly proud of!
I don't think I ever had this much fun with a production, especially with our little 'death family' I felt so connected to the cast like I never did before.
It really felt like I arrived at this destination after years where I can see I genuinely made such wonderful friends that I never want to let go💜
I love you all so much🫶🏻

And the play itself let me make so many new experiences that I feel privileged to have made: a fight choreography (I am still screaming!!⚔️), quick changes, filming a trailer, being in the radio and playing a romance? How cool is that?!

And besides all that, I got to act together again with my best friend, alongside so many other wonderful friends I made, thank you all for this experience🧙🏻‍♂️

Excited for what the next semester will bring🌟

This post is a whole semester late but oh well, better late than never.
I really wanted to post the Marian pictures still, since I look so cunty hahahaha (shoutout to the costumes team and especially @vik_ohne_c for the fit and thanks to myself for the make up aaaaay)
Loved playing an aristocratic asshole and would do it again✨️
Such a fun, silly production where I got to enjoy someone else playing the same role as me. Though I do have to say, I am always itching to go on stage when I am supposed to be just watching 👀
At least the entertainment is good, when @miniature_cosplay is the one on stage🌟 by @jay.is.a.cat

Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency is over now and I still haven't fully processed that.
This is by far my favourite play I have ever acted in. From the script to the costumes over to the scenery and the props, everything was so incredibly fun and people were so insanely dedicated that we pulled off the most insane shit ever in the span of 3 months.
I feel like everyone has grown so much during this time and especially the @edg.bielefeld as a group has grown closer than ever before during the time I have been there.
I never felt so connected to everyone and I never had so many people in my life that I can call friends.
These people, everyone involved, have made thus experience so wonderful and I thank every single one of the members from the bottom of my heart!
And oh God do I love Dirk, wow. At the beginning I was honestly not entirely sure about playing him, if I am being honest and I was even ready to give him up. But now he turned into my favourite character I have ever played. I was able to make him my own, give him my own little characteristics, expressions, feelings and thoughts and I love him dearly. I also never played a character who is so "fashionable" and I wish I could dress like this all the time haha
Anyways...
I love the EDG so much and though things are changing now, I am positive that we have so many more wonderful adventures ahead of us and memories to make🫶🏻

Everything is connected, especially us🦆🌟

Education is dead, for real now.

An absolutely crazy play that the @edg.bielefeld wrote ourselves. With a freaking musical number at the end, like, we even wrote a song?? That is still kinda insane to me haha
Though the process wasn't easy, I really love this play. The story is fun, the characters are creative, the visuals were really pretty and we did that all by ourselves. No one has ever performed this before. And I really love that.
Everyone was absolutely amazing on stage and off stage. I felt so much joy watching everyone do their thing, entertain people on stage and getting the applause and praise that they deserved.
Doing the make up stuff was also so much fun again, seeing everyone in their full looks just made me incredibly happy.
Well, but now Professor Greenfeather is retiring, he went through enough I think.

She Kills Monsters is officially over now and the post play depression is hitting me hard. So now I'll just talk about it and if you want to read you can read it.
When I get a new character to play it feels like I'm meeting a new person. I don't know them at all yet but I'm stuck with them now for quite a while. So I look into them, think about what things they would like, how their relationships are, what little quirks they have and how they feel emotions. So at one point this character becomes a part of me. They are always with me and I think about them all the time, know them in and out.
And then suddenly, it's over and I have to let them go again. It's weird, it's dramatic, I know but it feels like letting a good friend go. So goodbye Chuck, love you always!
But this is not everything. Working on this project with everyone has been such an amazing time. It was such a passion project and I feel like everyone gave their all to make it as amazing as it was. All the backstage teams worked overtime to give us these gorgeous visuals and sounds. Without them, this play would never have been this amazing and magical!
The actors were not afraid to be absolutely ridiculous in their roles and have given the play the comedy and the emotional value it had now in the end.
And obviously everything wouldn't have even come to this if we wouldn't have out director who works incredibly hard to make magic happen! Even tho I feel like we are sometimes harder to work with than a whole school of children, she always kept up with us and stayed the nice and kind soul she is.
What I want to say is, I am incredibly sad it's over but at the same time I am looking forward to the next play by the @edg.bielefeld ⚔️✨🎭 by @jay.is.a.cat
