In a few days, I will go from Blazer Sports Media camera operator, voice of VSU volleyball and basketball, and student podcast host to an alumni of the university where I have made my mark.

Every take, recording, rewrite, reshoot, exhilarating moment, and countless edits have completed my ultimate project: a 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚. 🎥🎬🎤

To my friends and family near and abroad, those I keep in my heart, professors and teachers, the athletes, coaches, and staff I've had the pleasure of working with, all of Blazer Nation, and to myself...I hope I have made you all proud these past four years. It's been an honor being a Blazer. ❤️🔥

Thank you, Valdosta State.

(hopefully the audio works) It sure pays to have P.A. experience when the time calls for it!

On Sunday, I got to temporarily fill in for VSU's regular announcer and called the Lady Blazers' starting lineup! Although my time on the mic was brief, I still enjoyed putting my announcer voice back on!

I usually don't post reels or videos, especially on my personal account. However, I wanted to take some time to thank @vstate_vb for one of the best presents a commentator can receive.

If you don't know, I have spent the last 3 years involved with VSU Volleyball as a public address announcer my sophomore year, then as a play-by-commentator for this and last year. In that time, I've gotten to know players, coaches, the sport of volleyball, and how to treat it in my profession.

I am eternally grateful for this momento of 'thanks' from the team, and by extension, all of its supporters, and everyone who's ever tuned in to a VSU game on FloCollege. You've all helped me grow as a commentator and as a sports media person. Every bit of feedback, praise of criticism alike, continues to build my style, approach, voice, and dream.

Thank you to the VSU Athletics Department for taking a chance and allowing me to continue representing these athletes and teams with my voice.

I know I'm graduating in the spring, but it doesnt mean I can't get a little sappy beforehand. Thank you, Blazer Volleyball, for everything.

This past Saturday, I received a Senior Day surprise.

On the last home basketball game of this regular season, and most likely my final home game as a student, I became one of several seniors who were honored and thanked for their hard work, dedication, and impact to Blazer Athletics.

Presented with another momento for my countless hours with Blazer Sports Media and on the headset, this moment reminded me that the work I do matters, and that I can be impactful to those around me. Four years of operating cameras, three years of podcasting, two years of commentating, and one year of P.A. announcing all building my name in Titletown, to this point.

Thank you to @vstate_blazers for the presentation and the opportunity to represent these teams through my calls, to Blazer Sports Media for growing my professional skill set in sports broadcasting, and to everyone who believes in me and my future. It's gotten me to moments and opportunities like these, of which I never imagined myself in previously.

As always, go Blazers! 🔥🔥

Be sure to tune in on FloCollege this season with yours truly on the call for the 2025 Blazer Volleyball season!

Massive thanks to the VSU Athletic Department for allowing me to continue my experience in a field I seek to make a career from! I cannot wait to call these matches this year!

I don't usually post on Instagram, but this will be the biggest game of my young sportscasting career.

I'm thankful that my work and dedication to my craft led me to this opportunity to be the radio commentator for this talented @vsubasketball team as they look to win their 2nd conference championship!

It's the Blazers versus the Chargers on talk921.com for the Gulf South Conference Title. And as always, go Blazers. 🔥🏀🔥 taken in Pete Hanna Center by @jay.x.scott
