What started as a simple goal to get back in shape became an 11 month journey of discipline, perseverance, and sacrifice.

Completed my first half marathon, running faster and pushing myself harder than ever before. Balancing a full time job with countless late night training sessions wasn’t easy, but every sacrifice paid off. I finished in 1:51:17, placing 2nd out of 50 in my age group, 24th out of 213 men, and 25th out of 352 overall. Not bad for a 90 kg fella!!

Grateful to my family and friends for their constant support. This is only the beginning. 🏅

11/20/25 – 04/29/26 Transformation

Getting back into shape is different now. More responsibility, less room for shortcuts, and everything has to be earned.

This journey humbled me. What used to come easy now takes discipline, patience, and consistency.

But that is what makes it worth it. Pushing through obstacles, adapting, and reaching new levels I have never seen before.

Not easy. Earned.

Just getting started.

Another year with the woman who’s changed my life in more ways than I can count.

Thank you for always seeing the good in me, even when I couldn’t see it myself.
For understanding me when I didn’t have the words.
For listening when all I needed was to be heard.
For believing in my potential before I even realized it.
And for being my best friend through it all.

You’ve been my strength, my mirror, and my heart.
Your love makes me want to be a better man every single day.
You’ve stood by me in moments I didn’t even know I needed someone, and for that, I’m endlessly grateful.

Happy anniversary, my love 🖤🤍 by @jay444_
