Come to Shakesport, NYC's premiere-and-only immersive, interactive and intimate gastropub-theatre celebration of the Bard!

Currently in residence at the iconic @joneswoodfoundry on Manhattan's UES, at Shakesport, you choose the scene, you cast the Players, and you add the Rubs, i.e. whatever whimsical or evocative moments you'd like to see mixed into Shax's works. And all while enjoying a range of plates from Chef Jason Hicks (who is _also_ from Stratford-upon-Avon) along with authentic cask ale and the like.

While our next show on 6.15 (at the time of this post) has only one ticket left (act now!), you can catch us on every 3rd Monday of the month for the whole year, so please click the link in bio. Your ticket includes supper, the show, and a welcome drink.

Special thanks to @uptown_girls_ues, @dasogolo, @laurenfortgang, and @allisondhpics for graciously lending us video from the 5.18 show! We do love getting the literal audience perspective, so, much appreciated! That show featured Company members @jay_frey, @obivaughan, @gabracadabranyc, and @neilhellegers.

Hope to see ye soon!

The Shakesport Company is growing for our May 18 show!

Meet Jessica Frey:

Jessica is an actor, teacher, sketch comedian, writer… you name it! When she was 10, she started reciting Shakespeare longingly into the air at parties. So… she’s pretty cool. She hasn’t stopped reciting Shakespeare, but less at parties. @jay_frey • jessicafrey.com by @jay_frey
