Went to see the Foo Fighters last night, got Dave’s attention to ask him if I could have a go on the drums. Dreams didn’t come true this time, but perhaps next time ? 🤣 I’ll keep practicing this until then. What A NIGHT it was!

It’s currently 30°C in the UK, and rather than being outside catching the sun, I’ve locked myself in and put literal sweat into this groove 🥁🕺

HELLO!! Please read ‼️ It’s been a little while, but I’m back!
Now due to the Instagram algorithm, apparently if you have a break from uploading, you won’t show up for many people when you finally do post.
So please give this a like/comment if you see this and actually enjoy it 😂 here’s to consistent uploading ? 🤔#drumming #musician #drummers #meinl #nataldrums taken in Flintshire by @jay_odrums

Comment below - Which snare sound do you prefer?
The snare drum is the most important sound on a kit, it really adds to the sound and feel of a song.
The right snare sound is always needed to fit the song.
Thats why us drummers NEED lots of snare drums!

Working on getting this up to speed - Simple sticking but not so simple to get perfect with the Right hand accents and keeping those Left hand strokes nice and quiet, combine that with keeping all the notes evenly spaced and consistent makes a really cool sounding “chop”
