To know Remi, was to know love. A love so unconditional that it made you forget how hard life really was some days. There are some kinds of love that are impossible to put into words. The love of a dog is one of them. It is a love that asks for nothing. No explanations. No perfection. No conditions. Just presence. Just trust. Just the simple joy of being together.

For twelve and a half years, Remi loved me exactly as I was. He was there for the good days and the hard ones, for the laughter and the tears, for the ordinary days that I didn’t realize would one day become some of my most precious memories. He made a home feel warmer simply by being in it. He had a way of making me smile without trying, of turning an ordinary moment into something worth remembering. Twelve and a half years was an entire chapter of my life. Remi wasn’t “just a dog”—he was part of our everyday lives, our home, our routines, and our hearts.

Remi gave me the kind of companionship that only a dog can give —The kind where a look could say everything. The kind where his presence alone could make a difficult day feel a little less difficult. He was always happy to see me, always ready to be near me, and somehow he made me feel like I was the most important person in the world.That is the gift animals give us. They don’t know how many years we have with them. They don’t worry about tomorrow. They simply love us today—with their whole hearts…. And Remi gave me twelve and a half years of those ‘today’s.’

I will forever miss the sound of him, the feel of him beside me, his little habits and quirks, and all the things that made him my Remi. I will miss the comfort of knowing he was there. I will miss the routines I never thought I’d have to live without. Most of all, I will miss the unconditional love that came so naturally from him. But underneath the heartbreak is an enormous gratitude. I am grateful that our paths crossed and God gave me the beautiful gift of my Remi Boy. Grateful that he chose me. Remi didn’t just spend twelve and a half years with me. He left twelve and a half years of love behind. And that love doesn’t disappear today. My heart will always belong to my Remi Boy

My sweet friend,

You were the most kind hearted and gentle dog. You were a perfect lil’ girl and I am so glad that God allowed me 9 1/2 years with you. You were Remi’s partner in crime and my best friend. You came into our lives out of nowhere, but you sure left an imprint on our hearts forever 🤍🐾🌈

I am so sorry that you were sick and had any suffering. Thank you for the best years. I am extremely saddened by your loss and I will never forget you. I love you, Tren, aka SnoozeBear.
