10 YEARS IN THE GAME. 🎨🥂 It still feels surreal to say that. 10 years as a makeup artist.. 🥲 What started as me just playing in makeup in high school turned into a career, a brand, and a lifestyle. I never imagined that something I did for fun would become the very thing that shaped my life for an entire decade. But looking back, it all makes sense. God simply gave me a gift..one that allows me to show up for women on some of the most meaningful days of their lives. And that’s something I’ll never take for granted. It hasn’t been easy. There were seasons when I wanted to quit. Moments where the hustle felt too heavy or the vision felt unclear. But this passion always found a way to pull me back in. That’s how I knew it was purpose. To know I’ve built a name, a business, and a legacy just by being myself, loving what I do, and pouring into others the way I would want someone to pour into me—that’s the real win. I’ve grown so much over these 10 years, not just as an artist, but as a woman. And the best part is, I’ve done it with God, with grace, and with the most loyal tribe of clients, brides, friends, and supporters who have believed in me every step of the way. Cheers to 10 years of MakeupbyJaya. A decade of purpose, elevation, and divine alignment. And I’m only getting started. Here’s to what’s next. 🥂 taken in Washington D. C. by @jayabolden

Doing everything I said I’d do! closed on another investment property as a birthday gift to myself. This makes property #3! I did it all while finishing my master’s degree, servicing a full book of clients @makeupbyjayastudio , and staying aligned through prayer and fasting. I’m blessed beyond measure, but more than anything, I’m grateful. This journey has never been about hustle… it’s always been about purpose. Walking boldly, staying in position, and claiming everything with my name on it. 🤍 taken in Washington D. C. by @jayabolden

God has the final say🙏🏾 Two properties in my twenties🏡🔑 Thank you God for allowing me to be a homeowner and real estate investor! This process has been so extraneous but so rewarding! All of my hard work as a full time Entreprenuer is paying off. Since. Going full time as a makeup artist in 2021, I’ve been working endlessly to diversify my streams of income.
