One Lens. One Vision. One Challenge.Same frame, different focal lengths; all captured with the @sonyalphain 70-200mm.During my 15-day Red Panda expedition across 3 groups, I challenged myself to shoot with just one lens. Intentionally, I left my 200-600mm back home to avoid the constant dilemma of switching between lenses.I know that if I had carried the 200-600, I would have instinctively gone for close-up shots first and then switched back to the 70-200. But having only one option pushed me to think differently, compose differently, and see differently.Sometimes limitations unlock creativity in the best possible way, and honestly, I’m really happy with this decision.Red Panda Expedition dates: 9-13 October & 22-26 October #jayantaguhaphotography#redpanda #redpandaexpedition #wildlifephotography #indianwildlife [ Red panda expedition, red panda sighting, wildlife photography, Nature photography, adventure ]Which is your favourite lens? by @jayantaguha_wildlife

If someone had told me years ago that wildlife photography would become my life, I probably wouldn't have believed them.I started this journey with nothing but curiosity, patience, and a camera. I wasn't thinking about awards, recognition, or even making a career out of it. I just wanted to spend time in nature and understand the wild a little better. Slowly, one experience led to another, and without realizing it, I found myself living a life I had only dreamed about. The journey has been incredible. From photographing birds to mammals, from rhinos to tigers, from trekking through the Himalayas in search of the red panda to waiting for days to catch a glimpse of the snow leopard. Then came Africa, where the vast savannahs completely changed the way I looked at wildlife photography. And now, here I am, discovering an entirely different universe through macro photography.Every chapter has taught me something new. Every destination has changed the way I see nature. And every challenge has made me a little more patient.Life is funny that way. It rarely follows the plan we make. Looking back, I never imagined this would be my life. But I'm grateful that I didn't try to control every turn.Sometimes, you don't need to know exactly where life is taking you. Just let it flow. Trust the journey. The only thing you need to control is your rudder. Now I'm in Amboli, a new workplace, a new classroom, and another opportunity to see the world differently. I'm excited to slow down, observe the tiny wonders most people walk past, and create something fresh, thoughtful, and meaningful. The journey continues, and I can't wait to see where it takes me next.#lifejourney #jayantaguhaphotography #sonyalphain #macrophotographyworkshop by @jayantaguha_wildlife

Giraffe 🦒 High key images Technical Points (Minimalist)Expose +1 to +2.3 EV (depending on the background and light).Use a bright, clean background (sky, water, snow, white sand).Shoot in Manual Mode with Auto ISO with positive exposure compensation.Spot Meter on the subject when required.Keep the histogram towards the right, but avoid clipping important subject details.Use a wide aperture (f/2.8–f/5.6) for background separation.Maintain a fast shutter speed (1/1000s or faster for wildlife).Use the lowest practical ISO.Shoot in RAW for maximum highlight recovery.Slightly overexpose the background, while preserving details in the subject.Enable Zebra/Highlight Warning to monitor blown highlights.Simplify the frame with negative space and minimal distractions.Fine-tune whites and highlights during post-processing while retaining feather or fur texture.#fineart #jayantaguhaphotography #highkeyphotography #monochromatic #giraffe by @jayantaguha_wildlife
