I spent about an hour learning this one, and it's still not perfect. I still fucked up a lot in this take. (Ran out of time :< )
Gorguts is one of those bands that reinvented themselves into something totally unique and out there. They've inspired countless bands with just this one album, Obscura. This is the title track, and the riffing style is so unconventional it's kind of insane.
Seeing Gorguts perform live made me appreciate them a lot more. Meeting Luc Lemay was an awesome experience. I respect him as a musician and a person as much as Chuck Schuldiner. I want to learn more of their material, and hopefully get a 7 string to learn some of their new stuff.

How my April went lowkirk
Made new friends, went to shows, touched grass, busted my leg for the third time, finished the writing for the first Malfeasance demo. I hope to build more friendships & lowkirk hoping for something more soon. taken in Utah Valley University by @jayaywiggle

Got tendonitis from having too rigorous of a routine so I had to take a step back. Back with some riffs that I had running around in my brain that I had to write without playing. Glad to be back, and I'll have some @malfeasanceband news soon too!!

My Bone Remover overdrive came in today, so I thought I'd do a small little demo. This particular model is a modded version of the Boss SD1 (in the very rare copper color ;)) I've had the Medusa for a while, so I wanted to see what kind of sounds I could get out of the two pedals blended together!

I would have used my red channel but something is going on with the volume where it is very inconsistent and will either get super loud or super quiet (set at just below 2 on post gain. Any amp people DM me 🙏) by @jayaywiggle
